Okay so this is a short one shot for you all. It's jella. It's kinda confusing, but you'll get it at the end. Anyway I'm working on another drabble/one shot and it's gonna be Hannah Montana since I haven't written for it in awhile. So those of you who read Two Worlds Collide. I know I said I would post another chapter a few days ago, but I still have yet to write it. I've been really busy. I probably won't have it out til maybe Friday. I start school back tomorrow. *gags* And today is my dad's birthday. And were going up to visit some of my family on Saturday so I'll try to write then. I promise. Anyway. Enjoy :) Also p.s check out my kacy drabble Time to Let Me Go. It's not getting any reviews.

I do not own JONAS or The Jonas Brothers

The Way It Goes

I walk into the room and there Stella is in a massive lip lock with HIM. She quickly pulled away when I said her name. She looked up at me with guilt in her eyes. I didn't give her a chance to explain herself. I just ran. Ran as far as my feet would take me. Wanting to forget that it had ever happened.

"Dude don't let her break your heart again. She doesn't deserve another chance. She cheated on you. She doesn't deserve you man."

I sigh and nod my head even though he can't see me.

"Your right Nick. So right. I don't deserve to get my heart broke again."

I look down at an old photo of us and sigh. Things were so much better then. We were happy. Or so I thought. Things were good. I thought we would be together forever. It was meant to be. I mean we had been best buds forever. Doesn't that mean something?

I look down at my phone as I hear it ring. I sigh again and pick it up.

"Hey man."

"Dude what's wrong?"

Carl asks. Being able to tell that I was put out.

"Nothing man."

"Is it Stella?"

I groan and hit my head on the backboard of my bed.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Yeah it kind of is.."

"Well thanks a lot man."

"Sorry, so not looking forward to seeing her again after refusing to see her all summer?"

"Yeah, man duh! I mean seriously..."

I stop before I let the sarcastic remark escape my mouth. I quickly close my phone dreading the day ahead.

I walk into the school hallway and over to my locker. A few minutes later I look up and see her walk through the school doors. She looks up at me and smiles. Like nothing ever happened. Like she was never not mine.

There she was with her blonde hair and soft skin and the girl that used to laugh at all of my jokes. The girl that I shouldn't miss, but I do. She walks up to him and he kisses her.

That should've been me. He stole her right out of my grasp. Just when I had gotten her he took her away with his charms and good looks.

I sigh and shake my head and walk to class. I daydream in class about everything that we had done. We had had so many good times. Then he had to ruin it all.

Then surprisingly it hit me. During AP Chemistry. That I shouldn't mope about that past, cause if I do then I'll never be able to move on with my life. I shouldn't stay in the past. I should look towards the future.

I quickly open my eyes and look around. I'm in my room. Not the chemistry lab. And I'm in my pajamas. Not school uniform. Then suddenly my door opens.

"Joe what are you still doing in bed?"

Stella looks at me oddly. I pulled her down into my arms and kissed her. She looked shocked, but quickly kissed back.

"Hi to you too Joe."

She said giggling once she pulled away.

It was all a dream. A dream.

He was so glad. Cause if Van Dyke tried to make a move on his girl he would have to beat the guy up.

Okay, more he'd pay someone to do it.

Ain't that the way it goes?
Always stumbling into something
Life's an open road
You've gotta take it
If you just let go
Loose your way to find that one thing that you've been missing
You almost missed it all
