Appearance: Jay's family history is against him. In the night, his clothes will turn dark colors, such as navy blue, dark grey, black, dark red. His hair will turn a dark black, but his eyes, however, will turn a brilliant shining blue. In the day, though, his clothes will turn to bright color, his eyes turn brown, and his hair turns a golden blonde.
History: Jay is a child of Apollo, but also a grandson of Artemis. Several centuries ago, Artemis broke her vow, and fell in love with a mortal man. Together they made a child, Ariana Smith. Scared of her punishment, Artemis secretly raised the child. As soon as she was eleven years old, she turned her into a Hunters Maiden, and kept her safe for nearly two hundred years. But Ariana fell in love, and lost her immortality. She ran away with a young man, who turned out to be Apollo. Apollo did not know it was Artemis's daughter, for Artemis had kept it a secret. Together they raised a child for one happy year, until Apollo had to leave, leaving Ariana alone with the baby. She raised him, but when Jay was seven, Ariana fell ill, and passed away. She gave Jay instructions to go to a camp. Jay followed his mothers dying wish, and went to the camp, where he tried to stay in the shadows, and keep his gift, and curse, hidden.
