N/A: I had to get this meme out of my head, and this was the result. Please note that I'm not a Dragon Ball person aside from the meme, and some aspects may be incorrect.

Without further ado, let us begin...

Unbridled wrath was the only emotion coursing through Goku as he stood in front of his enemies, Nappa and Vegeta. They had taken the life of his friend Piccolo, and they were going to pay for it.

Goku channeled his anger into the rocks and pebbles around him. Using his powers, he levitated them into the air. More and more rocks floated upward as the Saiyan's fury grew. Vegeta, surprised and fascinated by Goku's immense power, pulled a scouter from his pocket and placed it over his left eye.

"Goku's power level has exceeded seven thousand..." he mumbled to himself. "Now it's over eight thousand... Unbelievable... "

Goku then decided enough was enough. Letting his anger subside, he allowed the rocks to fall back to earth. Strangely, they hit no one, even though they easily could. The Saiyan then turned to his foes.

"Vegeta," Nappa began, turning to his fellow Saiyan. "What does the scouter say about his power level?"

Vegeta removed the scouter and crushed it in the palm of his hand. "It's over NINE THOUSAND!"

"What?! Nine thousand?!" cried an incredulous Nappa. "There's no way that can be right, can it?"

"Actually, Nappa, you're right," said Goku, surprising both his enemies. "There is no way the scouter is correct. "

"Wait, what?" Nappa was incredulous.

"My power level is over eight thousand, not nine."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Hey Vegeta, what kind of scouter did you use?"

"Just the standard red one, why?"

"Those one can be faulty at times. You must have gotten a dud."

"Scouters never lie, Goku."

"Yeah, I don't know, Vegeta. Where'd you get the scouter, anyway?"

"I got it from Frieza in exchange for my spare copy of Bendy and the Ink Machine. I hear he loves that game."

"Wow. Anyway, enough fooling around! I'm going to avenge Piccolo right here and now!"

"Wait, hold up," said Vegeta, holding up his hand. "Nappa, is it true that that scouter was faulty?'

"Yeah, third-party scouters are junk. You gotta order them directly from Tuffle Inc. Otherwise, the scouters will overread or underread power levels."

"Oh well," shrugged Vegeta. "At least my "over nine thousand" quote makes a good catchphrase. Maybe even a good meme, who knows."

"Well, I gotta get going," said Goku, turning to leave. "Oh, and Nappa? Get a shirt."

As he left, Vegeta turned to Nappa. "Does this mean I can only say 'over nine thousand' if he's a Super Saiyan?"

"Nah. He's trained in the art of kaioken, so there's a good chance he'll have a power level of..."

"OVER NINE THOUSAND!" they shouted together.
