POKEMON ALLUSION
It's been 25 years since Ash left on his journey. Now a Pokemon Master, he left off for Mt. Silver to train some new Pokemon. His Pikachu has grown old but can still wipe the floor with many Pokemon. Gary is now Professor Oak of Pallet Town which he inherited from his grandfather. The original Professor Oak died in his 80s but his legacy lives on. Now, a new breed of trainers are here.
"Gizmo, use Thundershock!", the young trainer Razon told his small Pichu to use against his rival's Azurill.
"Dodge it Agua!", his rival Tajiri told his Azurill, "now use Water Gun!" The water hit Pichu and made it cry.
"Gizmo, c'mon you can do this", Razon told his Pichu.
"Man, what a wimp of a Pokemon", Tajiri said to his rival.
"I'll show you", Razon said charging after Tajiri.
"Woah, what's going on here?", a brown-haired man in a lab coat said.
"Nothing dad", Tajiri said to the man, "Just my Azurill beat Razon's Pichu and he started running at me."
"I see", the man said and turned to Razon, "Well nobody likes a sore loser."
"But Professor Oak...", Razon said.
"See I told ya!", Tajiri said to Razon.
"And nobody likes a sore winner either", Oak said to his son, "Look you are both about to start your Pokemon journeys. You both must learn to win and lose with the right attitude. Now, come home Tajiri and Razon I think your mom is calling for you."
Razon went home with Gizmo in his arms.
Razon told his mom the whole story.
"So don't you see?", he said.
"Well what I see is that you need to learn how to battle and train right before you leave", his red-haired mom said.
"I can't wait to turn 10 tomorrow so I can be a real trainer like dad", he said.
"For now, just eat your dinner", she said.
Later that night, he spent the whole time moving around his bed. He looked at his clock...
"Aw man, it's only 2AM", he said, "I can't sleep at all, can you Gizmo?" He saw Gizmo laying on his bed sleeping.
Morning finally came and the two kids went to Professor Oak's lab.
"Now before you two leave", he said, "Do you know about how to train Pokemon?"
"Yes", the both said.
"Well I'll tell you anyway", he continued, "Battling Pokemon gives your Pokemon experience in battling and the more experience the stronger they grow. Any questions? No? Well let's continue. Do you know about catching Pokemon?"
"Yes...", Razon and Tajiri groaned.
"Just in case", he said, "When you battle a wild Pokemon they get weaker as it goes on. Catch them with a Pokeball. The weaker the Pokemon, the more likely they can get caught but try not to make them run away. Also, you can't catch other people's Pokemon."
"Now, here's your pokeballs", he said and gave them 5 pokeballs each, "Now remember to get eight gym badges and then you can challenge the Elite Four."
Both of them left, kiss their moms respectively and left for their Pokemon journey.
