Never Giving Up

Prologue

The earth is such a big place filled with many adventures, many areas to live, many people to meet. Every person has their own destiny in life, and they are pulled to that area on Earth that they are most suited for. Sometimes what pulls them to move to another place or to stay in one place is for new employment, for education, for their own desires.

The reason why I moved from my home in Florida was because of education. Whitmore College in Virginia is the place that I was pulled into; I really do not know why my best friend and I wanted to come to this college so badly. In Florida there are many amazing universities there, but yet we still chose to go to this particular college.

Man, did we make the biggest mistake of our lives. There were people, bad people, coming after my best friend, Charlotte, and I had no idea why. All I know is that I wasn't just going to stand around while they tried to kidnap her, so I got myself involved.

There was one particular man who had great interest in Charlotte... and soon, he grew great interest in me. I don't know why he grew interest in me, either, but I did know that he was the scariest man I had ever met in my entire life. I didn't want anything to do with him; at least, I didn't want to at first...

This is the story of Journey Benitez; my story. My story of how this man changed my life; of how he changed my personality completely. He had an effect on me that no other man has had on me, and I didn't even know if it was for the best, or... for the worst. All I know is that I fell completely in love with this man, and there was nothing anybody could do to take me away from him.

This is the story of how I went from being an innocent, goody-two-shoes girl, to a girl who turned completely evil just because of the man that I fell in love with. Was this destiny? Or was this complete bad luck?
