Arthur walked out of the crowded classroom, watching the famous football player, Alfred F. Jones. ( Such an American name, Arthur thought ) stride out of the classroom like he had better things to do then attend class. Arthur sighed as he watched his crush talk to other jocks and some cheerleaders. Yes, you didn't misread, it says crush. They nerdy, UNpopular, bookworm Arthur Kirkland has a crush on popular Alfred F. Jones who could date anyone he hesitantly walked to his locker,, hopping not to be spotted by his football player. Unfortunately, he failed as Alfred waved goodbye to his "friends" as he called out to Arthur and hustled towards him.

"HEY DUDE!" Alfred shouted.

Arthur just shyly waved to the loud American and stood in place, waiting for him.

"Hello Alfred," Arthur stated Alfred caught up, they started walking together.

"Something wrong dude?"

"No, I'm fine." Arthur lied. He couldn't get him out of his mind and it was eating him inside.

"Well, Artie, I'm going to have to catch up with you. Game tonight. "

Arthur walked to his locker, and turned his remembered combination until he heard a satisfying click. He opened it to find a rose and envelope. He smelled the rose, surprised someone would put this in his locker. He slowly read the letter to find:

Arthur, my silent beautiful green eyed savior, angel, you probably notice who this is already, by the handwriting. What I am trying to say is that you saved me, I used to get bullied alot, but when I saw you I wanted to impress you, and so I tried out for the football team, and I never got bullied again. Because of you Arthur, I am still alive right now. What I am trying to say, is that I, Alfred F. Jones loves you, Arthur Kirkland, the apple of my eye, my angel, my savior, the list can go on.
