"How long have you known this?" Yami asked, trying to keep his emotions under control.

Yuugi shrugged. "Since always, I think. I mean, I wasn't certain until duelist kingdom but…"

The other sighed. "And why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want things to change between us…" Yuugi said guiltily. "I probably should have said something, but you seemed so happy with the way things were…" He trailed off.

"You didn't think that this was something I should know?" Yami asked indignantly.

The small teen hung his head in shame. "I know, but… If I had told you it would have changed our relationship so much. I didn't want…"

Yami sighed again. "How did I not guess this anyways?"

"I'm pretty good at hiding it," Yuugi answered promptly. "I've had lots of practice."

"Why do you need to hide it anyways?"

"Well… I didn't want to scare everybody away. I'd never have anyone to play with."

"But it's something you should be proud of. It's a part of who you are." Yami scowled. Why must his host be so uncertain of himself?

"Yeah, but it intimidates people."

"Your friends then? Shouldn't you have told them?"

"Are you kidding? It would scare them most of all, especially Jou. I'd never get to play."

"Aibou," Yami sighed once more. "Fine. But I do wish you had told me that you were better than me at duel monsters."
