Part III – The Egyptian God Cards
We continue our trilogy here at Domino Square, right outside of Domino's Dance Center. Anzu, Yugi's best friend, is being held hostage, in order to release Yami. In the previous stories, a man named Akahito, leader of the Black Card Thieves Generation X, has revealed the secrets of the dark cards. And now, a distorted Akahito begins to reveal a side more dangerous than Yami Marik, Pegasus, and every other villain Yami has ever faced.
"Alas, I reveal unto you pharaoh, a side which has helped me in my duels. Meet Yami Akahito!" shouted Akahito, as a blazing light covered him. Yami stood back, as a man wearing black robes, and markings around his arms, face and hands came forth. The man was blowing through a solid gold harmonica, which made Yami uneasy.
"What's wrong Yami?" asked Yugi from within the body of Yugi.
"That's the harmonica of Alkestis, the very first Black Card Thief. He was said to have wielded the power of deities, all within that very harmonica. Yugi, if we don't win this, he will seal me within the Millennium--" said Yami before being interrupted by the sound of the harmonica.
Suddenly, Yami begin to vanish. First, his feet vanished into thin air. Next, his arms slowly faded. Finally, all that remained when Yami Akahito stopped playing was his head, which barely floated where it was.
"Now pharaoh, allow me to seal you within the corridors of your Millennium Puzzle!" shouted Yami Akahito, striking one D note on his Harmonica, and then striking a C for the finale. Yami shouts as he vanishes completely into the Millennium Puzzle.
"Bring him back now!" shouted an angry Yugi.
"Defeat me in the remainder of this duel. You have one monster on the field I have none. Your life points are lower than mine, and it's my turn. So let's finish this. I'll play one card facedown, and then place a card in the Magic/Trap Card Zone. End turn," said an eerie voiced Yami Akahito.
"Before we continue, tell me about that harmonica," demanded Yugi.
"Fine. It is my very own item, like your Millennium Puzzle. It grants me the ability to control all of the Millennium Items, and manipulate them to my desire. It also lets me draw cards like this," responded Yami Akahito, holding up his Dark Obelisk card. -- I have to summon my Egyptian God Cards or this guy'll finish me off quick, thought Yugi quietly to himself.
"I'll draw a card, and place another card facedown in Defensive Mode," said a smirking Yugi.
"You have something planned. Too bad, I'll be summoning my monster first. I'll place a card facedown. End turn,"
"Exactly what I wanted you to do. Now, I'll play Change of Heart, to snatch your monster, and then I'll sacrifice my three monsters to summon...Saint Dragon – God of Osiris!" shouted Yugi. The clouds grew pitch black, as a bolt of lightning struck the three holograms.
Yami Akahito grunted in angst as the God of Osiris came forth with a destructive attack and defense (X000/X000).
"Now I reveal, Pot of Greed, allowing me to draw two more cards, raising Osiris's attack (6000/6000). Attack now Osiris, and reclaim Yami! Thunder Force!" shouted a sure Yugi. Osiris was stopped in its tracks against the power of the Man Eater Bug, which destroyed it only for one turn.
"Nice try Yugi, but I know that you are nothing without the dueling advice of Yami," said a nasty Yami Akahito, sending his bug to the graveyard.
"Osiris will return Akahito. This duel is mine..."
