Cheetor's Memoir
A/N: Post Beast Wars, AU. I wrote this a long time ago and decided to post it.
I remember when it all started, this war between High Command and the rebels. It began just after Rampage and Depth Charge died. Rampage died quickly but at least he died without chains like he wanted to. Depth Charge on the other hand died saving his lover, Echo. She had been heartbroken over his death and wanted vengeance for his death at the High Command's price. With a heavy heart she exposed her foes for what they really were bringing rebels out. After her broadcast, Echo quickly gathered the "Lost Maximals" and a rebel group to get arranged for the High Command's coming onslaughts. Rattrap and Echo were the main heads of the group while Rhinox and Optimus used their influence in the council. Echo began to lead the rbel attacks after the High Command struck. Not too long after she discovered that she had a baby spark within her. It tore her apart because she had recently accepted Depth Charge's death. Echo gained a daughter she named Nova. Her coloring was completely opposite of Echo and Depth Charge. Echo guessed that she got her red and bronze coloring from the 'ambrosia.' Blackarachnia and Silverbolt had a son of their own named Retro.
In later years, Rhinox was in an accident and killed; Silverbolt galently gave his life in battle for Blackarachnia who was later killed in battle as well. Retro was left in Echo's care to be raised with Nova. It was eventually found out that Tarantulus was an underground operative. Rattrap and Echo met up with him once and he was never heard from again. It was rumored he and the Tripredacus Council disappeared. Optimus had gotten info on where Quickstrike was and Rattrap, along with other rebels, retrieved him. When High Command discovered that Optimus had been leaking info he was thrown in prison for safe keeping. This made the citizens not too happy. Not too long after his imprisonment, Optimus was busted out and disappeared with the faction that rescued him. Only myself, Rattrap, and Echo remained. Rattrap was killed about two years later in a guerilla strike. Many, many, many, years later, Echo joined with the matrix as it was her time. I was left to tend to Nova "Firefox" (as she was called now since she acquired an Earth fox beast mode) and Retro, Silverbolt's and Blackarachnia's son.
A/N: Cheetor is telling the story to someone I never really decided who. Everyone arrives back on Cybertron. High Command are the Cybertronian leaders (Maximals). I thought it would be interesting if they were not as they seemed. (Kind of seemed screwed up they created Rampage.)
Also, as far as the 'kids' part I haven't thought about how that would even work. I just wanted the bots legacy to live on. For Echo it might work since she's part organic. As for Silverbolt and BA I've got nothing right now.
Oh, and for those of you who've read "Echo" this does not mean this is what is going to happen in that fic.
