"Hehehehe…" The blond snickered and rubbed his hand together. "It's perfect… except for one little thing…"

"Is that all you came to bother me about? A prank?" Shikamaru's voice held weary disdain.
"But this one's different. This is my greatest prank yet!" Naruto exclaimed, "But, there's just one thing… He hasn't fallen for my other tricks. I wanted to make sure this one works, so I came to you!"
The blonde's infectious grin spread its' way across his face and Shikamaru sighed.
"How troublesome…" He muttered, "But, I guess I'll help. So, tell me your plan..."

"Hmm…" The strategist closed his eyes, "Your plan isn't too bad… There only seems to be one thing you need to change; your name."
"What?"
"Well, you'll give yourself away completely if you go by Naruto or Naru, so I suggest that you call yourself… Koruna. Also be sure not to give yourself away in any other way either."
"Okay! Thanks!" Naruto ran off towards team 7's training grounds, grinning enthusiastically.
"This should be interesting," Shikamaru said to himself as he laid back on the grass, "This should be very interesting…"

Hello! This is my first Naruto fanfic, so please treat me well. Anyways, anyone want to take a guess as to what Naruto's planning?
Also: This fanfiction is dedicated to Crystal, who challenged me to do it. I'm sorry I took so long!
Oh, and the pairing in this fanfiction is entirely up to you readers, I'm thinking.
About the setting of the story:
It's set in an alternate timeline, before Shippuden, but after the Chuunin exams. Sasuke doesn't have the curse mark and isn't about to go rushing off to Orochimaru or anything like that.
Another thing! I have no idea how long this is going to be, and I only have a vague idea of where the storyline is going… So I will be highly influenced by reviews.
