"God motherfucking dammit!"
Law looked up from the book he was reading to see a girl with long and wavy orange hair sitting across him cussing so passionately into the screen of her laptop. She was whispering to herself but her voice carried so much fury that she might as well be yelling out loud. Luckily for her, it was almost closing time and the university library was already nearly deserted. Law didn't know who this girl was, but he knew her by face as they were both regulars in the library.
"No way in shit!
"You are a fucking dickface!
"I'm gonna shitting kill you one day."
Law frowned at her use of colorful words.
The girl looked extremely agitated. Whatever was making her so furious like this, he wished they wouldn't do it inside the library. He had finals in three of his subjects in two days and he would really like it if the girl could just, you know, shut the fucking hell up.
"Oh, for the love of the holy fucking shit!"
Law coughed softly to get the girl's attention, but to no avail.
"No! Why are you doing this to me?!" The girl whisper-screamed dramatically.
She was too absorbed in her own little world to notice anything.
Law tried again, louder this time, but the girl's attention was still transfixed on her laptop. It was agitating Law now too, too much that he found himself standing up and making his way toward the wall where the girl's laptop was plugged into the wall socket. He could see the battery sitting on the desk just beside her laptop. He didn't care though. The girl was pissing him off and she needed to stop. There was no way he was going to fail his finals because some girl picked a fight with whoever or whatever was on her laptop.
With one last look toward the girl, Law pulled the plug out from the socket. He braced himself from the wrath that he knew the girl would befall unto him but when he turned to look at her, the girl was merely staring at him with wide eyes, jaw slacked.
Slowly, the girl stood up and walked toward him robotically, stopping only a foot away from him.
"Thank you." She heard the girl mutter. "Thank you!" She said more clearly, a tear escaping from her eye. Confused as he was, he couldn't help but note how dramatic her reaction was.
Suddenly, the girl turned on her heels, grabbed her belongings and sped out of the library leaving Law dumbfounded still holding her laptop's power chord in one hand.
With that, Law only had one thought in mind. "What the fuck?"
The next day, Law found himself sitting on the same seat in the library. He still had the girl's power chord. He was quite sure he would see her again today like he did every time he went to the library, though he usually saw her around the afternoon.
Thinking back to yesterday, Law still couldn't wrap his head around what happened. It was a mystery. And to say that Law was curious would be an understatement. Law frowned. He remembered looking toward the girl first before pulling the plug out. He couldn't see the whole screen of her laptop because her head was on the way but he did see the address bar. What website was it again?
Ah, I remember.
Law smirked to himself, already feeling the satisfaction of solving the mystery. He typed in the url on the address bar: flappybird dot io and pressed enter.
Nami was feeling light and happy today, and it was all thanks to the guy from yesterday. She made sure to thank him properly for saving her from that Flappybird bastard. No more was that annoying, digital, pixelated bird in her life. It was a good thing that she left her power chord with the guy too so she couldn't power up her laptop back at home to play the game. The withdrawal symptoms had already ended by the time she made breakfast as well. Maybe she could invite him out for a snack later... Nami hoped she didn't scare him though especially since she acted a tad bit dramatically before she left.
What was his name again? Tora- Traffy- Trafalgar. Trafalgar Law, was it? He and Chopper were both from the College of Medicine and she'd heard a lot about his smarts from the latter. He was also a regular at the library like her and the DEATH tattoo on his fingers made him impossible to miss.
She also made sure to smack Luffy and Usopp later today for persuading her to play that computer game from hell. They were the reason she got addicted to it.
Nami entered the library, training her eyes around to see the boy seated on the same spot as yesterday. She could see a lot of students around his area, chattering to each other. Nami tilted her head to the side in amusement and smiled to herself. She really admired people like him who didn't get distracted by noise or computer games so easily and the DEATH tattoo aside, the guy was quite attractive.
Strolling toward him, she noticed that he was staring so intently at his laptop, brows furrowed deep down in concentration. He was muttering something under his breath but she was too far to hear, but her brows shot up when the students seated near Law have all stopped chattering. They turned to him at once with worried looks on their faces. That was weird. Nami walked a little faster to see what was up but stopped immediately on her tracks, eyes widening as she heard Law shout,
"God motherfucking dammit!"
A/N: I have no idea what happened. And sorry I'm late to the Flappybird hype.
