Summary: Itachi sometimes worried that the emptiness inside him signified something. Maybe he wasn't human. No... that was impossible. After all, he still had the love for his brother; no matter how twisted it seemed.
A/N: This story can be placed in several different places on the Naruto Story Time Line: after the Uchiha Massacre, when he sees Sasuke at the hotel when he and Kisame are trying to kidnap Naruto, before he fights Sasuke (and dies). It can even be slightly AUish in the sense that this may also take place in the afterlife as he's being "judged." I don't know - don't care - let your imagination run wild.
