Cloud reached for a cup and turned on the faucet, the water gushing out muffled the sound of the lawn mower outside in the front yard. He took a sip, looking out the window as he leaned with his hand on the counter top. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of the last few days; it'd all happened fairly quickly with Reno helping him make the move and even Rude showing up to lend a hand. He'd just unpacked the last box this morning - not that there was much, but Cloud had wanted to come to terms with moving in with his new lover. He was surprised he could comfortably say it without a hint of doubt. But he was ready to give up solitude and embrace the Turk's playful company.

Cloud gulped down the last of the refreshing water and set the cup on the sink as Reno drove by on the mower - headphones on, leg resting casually on the bonnet and fingers drumming on the wheel. The Turk looked up to see Cloud standing, looking fairly amused, through the kitchen window. Just his face and hair standing out against the dark interior.
