Part IV – The Finale – Clash of the Divine (Part 1 of 2)

"My turn. I'll play a card known as Raise Dead, to take control of your Osiris," said Yami Akahito. Yugi's face lit up with complete and utter shock.

"No. He has three cards in his hand, and I have no monsters on the field. One attack will wipe me out," he whispered softly.

"Yugi, you can do it," Anzu cried out. Yami Akahito played a soft note on his harmonica, wiping out Anzu's mind completely. She became nothing but an empty vessel.

"Now you have two things to duel for. The soul of your Yami, and the mind of your friend," said Yami Akahito, laughing uncontrollably. Yugi clutched his fists in pure anger. Tears began to drop from his face, and the Millennium Puzzle began to glow brightly.

"This has gone on far enough Akahito! You have done too much to cause pain to me, and it has worked. So if you're happy, I'll finish this duel alone!" shouted Yugi, placing the puzzle on the ground.

"That's the spark of fire I wanted to see--"

"This is not a spark! It's an inferno!"

"Whatever, now Osiris attack him directly!" shouted Yami Akahito. Yugi activated his Goddess of Healing Dian Keto, giving him 1000 extra life points before the impact. (Y: 100).

"My turn Akahito," said a weak Yugi. Osiris switched back to Yugi's side of the field. Yami Akahito, unconcerned, placed a card facedown and ended his turn.

"Your move Yugi,"

"I'll play one card facedown in the Magic/Trap Card Zone, and now Osiris attack,"

Osiris opened its first mouth and attacked Akahito, but to no avail. Akahito had activated Attack Nullification, canceling Osiris's attack completely.

"Too bad. Your attack was ineffective. Now I'll have time to summon Dark Obelisk. And I can fulfill this vision by summoning Stray Lambs, which are Scapegoats, which I can sacrifice. The downside: there are only two, so I'll place a third card facedown, and I'll end my turn,"

"I won't let you summon it. I'll...there's nothing I can do now. Wait! I'll activate the effect of Osiris's second mouth. All monsters under 2000 are destroyed,"

"Nope. These are monster tokens, and my third card is facedown,"

"No way! Osiris's attack is 7000, and there's nothing I can do...except destroy your tokens. Go Osiris, Thunder Force!" shouted Yugi as Osiris annihilated one of the tokens.

"My turn. I'll play Early Burial, reviving my Dark Rabbit. Next I'll sacrifice my last Stray Lamb, my facedown card, and my Dark Rabbit to summon Dark Obelisk," said an ecstatic Yami Akahito.

"Oh no. Osiris hurry, use your second mouth,"

"Doesn't work that way. Unlike Obelisk, Dark Obelisk has the ability to take control of my opponent's monsters instead of destroying them,"

"Osiris!"

"Precisely. Now that Osiris is in my possession, I can use Dark Obelisk's second effect, which allows me to sacrifice one monster, and deal his attack to my opponent,"

"One thing's wrong. His attack is 0," Yugi pointed out.

"No. I forgot. Dark Obelisk deals out the original attack, and I've already sacrificed Osiris. Which means--" said an angry Yami Akahito.

"He returns to my side of the field. Now the playing field is even, and our divine creatures are preparing to clash!" shouted a newly confident Yugi.
