I woke up in a dark room, I appear to be sitting on some kind of metallic armchair with my arms stuck into the arms of the chair. I tried moving my arms but to no avail, my arms appear to be shacked into the chair, so are my legs. I looked around the darkness, there was nothing I could see. Then a bright light then shined at my face before a silhouette of a tall figure then approached. The room starts to light up, revealing more about the room I'm in at. The room was small and had curved walls with hexagonal patterns lighting up scarlet. I looked at myself to see the arms and legs shackled to the chair and cables attached to both sides of my forearms and shoulders. I wore a black suit that is grafted into my body permanently with it resembling to that of a muscular man, the suit could light up neon colours on the lines that are outlining the muscles of the person, the only parts that are exposed are the head, neck, hands and feet. The only part of clothing I wear is grey pants with my forelegs exposed.
The figure then entered the room, giving me a better look at him. He was tall, wore blue armour with neon lightning and a plain white mask on his face.
'So, had some of that light for you, MA-412294?' The figure said.
MA-412294 was the only name I was given since when I was made a Sitabo ("Sleeper Assassin" in Prohumane Lexiconus), people of the Prohumane race who are modified to become faster and stronger while brainwashed to be complete their task nonetheless, in my home world of Asticus. The Prohumane (New Humans) were a humanoid race that inhabits the planets on a star known as Iraticus, with Asticus being the capital. I was one of the people known as "Drifters" or "Driftaras", rogue Sitabo who deviated from their control and tasks. There was a civil war between rebel Prohumanes known as the Liberas Humane and the Imperitus Prohumanes, the empire that controls the Iraticus star system ruled by the Emperor himself. I became a drifter because I fought against a rebel fighter who managed to break my mind control and I fought back against my comrades. I was then quickly captured and sent to a space station dubbed the Porsintewor, which is a prison for drifters and the rebels. I will remain imprisoned there for the rest of my life until I either die or be rehabilitated.
The armoured figure, which was one of the guards here, then approached to a lever and pulls it down, sending electric shocks into me. I was tortured through this exact same method for eternity since I got imprisoned in that space station. I attempt to resit the pain from the shocking, but to no avail. The guard then came up to me and grabbed my neck before looking at my blue eyes.
'How's that for you?' The guard said. 'Not enough?'
The guard then punched me in the face and then punches me once more. The guard then grabbed my brown hair and looked at me.
'Are you ready to be rehabilitated?' The guard said.
I proceeded to spit out blood at the guard's mask. The guard then let go of my hair and proceeded towards the lever. The guard then pulls the level down again, shocking me once again. I screamed in agony as the shocks turn even more painful. After fifteen seconds had passed, the guard pulled the lever up, turning the shocking off.
'Looks like you haven't learned your lesson yet.' The guard said. 'But I will come for you next time, Drifter.'
The guard then exits the cell, that's what I will call that room, and closes the door, which slides down. The lights then begin to turn off. I was then left to sleep once more till the guard comes back.
I suddenly hear the cell's door opening up. I open my eyes to expect the guard again, but it wasn't him. Instead, it was a tanned bald man with a staff, a pink cloak over his left arm, black shirt, purple trousers and pink sandals. He approaches towards me and learns closer.
'Wake up, it's time to go.' The man said.
The man then approaches behind me and deactivated the machine that was being used to send electric shocks at me, the cables attached to me then detached itself and shrinks back into the machine. The cuffs on the chair then opened. I tried to stand up, but after a few steps. I collapsed to the floor.
'Easy now, you have been sitting on this cell for a long time.' The man said. 'But you will regain some strength.'
'Who are you?' I asked to the man with the hushed voice.
'Me? Call me Auctor, and I am here to break you out.' The man said.
This man, named Auctor, then used his staff to point at something on the floor. On the floor was a scabbard containing a sword with a curved blade and a holster containing a Blaster pistol. I approached to the weapons and put the belts of the scabbard and the holster on, with the sword and pistol close to each other.
'Now that you're geared up, I need you to follow me.' Auctor said.
Auctor then stepped off of the cell before I do. As I leave my cell, I was greeted by a circular hall with doors leading to other cells.
'How do we get out of here?' I asked the man.
'We'll be going to the flight deck located at a level below us,' Auctor said. 'we will be taking this elevator in the middle of the hall to the deck and I will get out out of here with my ship.'
Auctor then pressed the button to call for the elevator to arrive, the elevator passed down ten floors down. As the doors of the elevator open, it revealed the exact same guard who tortured me. Auctor then took a step back and I teleported back slightly. I have the ability to dash, making me appear that I am teleporting. The guard then took out a black stick with the end lighting up blue and his blaster appears on his left arm, I am about to face against my torturer.
'Do you think about escaping this time?' The guard said. 'If you really want to escape, we could do this the easy way or the hard way. You will go back to your cell or I make you to go back to your cell.'
I proceeded to take out my sword from my scabbard, the outlines on my body suit starts to light up blue as so the sword does. The sword could also light up neon colours. The guard then leaves a little laugh.
'Excellent choice, Drifter.' The guard said.
The guard charged at me and strikes me with the pole a few times with me parrying and dodging it. I then proceed to throw some slashes at the guard, which he also dodges. The guard then jumps back and fires his blaster at me. I dashed to the right and placed my sword back into the scabbard to take out my blaster. I proceed to fire my blaster at the guard while running around in circles, which shoots up blue energy balls. I dashed forward and fired a charged beam at the guard, which end up hitting him. The guard is then downed and I proceed to charge at him with my sword out. I proceed to slash my sword at him while he is blocking using his pole. After a few hits, the guard then hit me in the chest with his stun pole, sending me flying back. After crashing to the wall, I quickly jumped up and looked at the guard.
'Nice skills you got there.' The guard said.
The guard then got up and took out a blaster cannon on his left shoulder. The guard shoots a orange energy bullet at me, causing me to dash to the right. The bullet causes a large explosion which for some reason didn't destroy the walls.
'Do you think you can run away from me?' The guard taunted.
I then took out my blaster pistol as soon as I see him. The guard then fired an orange beam from his cannon at me while I was running in circles around the hall. I proceeded to fire my pistol at the guard while focusing on firing at his shoulder mounted cannon. I was able to get some hits on the cannon, which causes it to be inactive for a moment, I stopped running and fired a charged beam at the cannon, blowing it up. I once again downed the guard, I ran up to him with my sword out. I drew out several slashes to his armour, the guard then takes his pole out to defend himself, which both my sword and the pole clashed. After ten seconds of struggle, I kicked the guard's chest with my bare foot, causing him to throw his pole away. The guard then raised his left arm to point his blaster at me, I grabbed his arm and raised it above, causing him to shoot at the ceiling. I proceeded to slice his left arm off, revealing a robotic arm with wires inside. I got on top of the guard and stabbed him in the heart with my sword, causing a large field of electricity around us. The guard then gave his last breath before dying. I got up and pulled the sword out of his body before putting it back on my scabbard.
Auctor proceeds to clap for me.
'Bravo! Bravo! What a nice start,' Auctor said. 'You even managed to take on a Guard Unit since all those five years.'
'Five years? That's how long I have been kept in here?' I said shockingly.
'I'm afraid so. It appears those shocks you suffered must have made you stronger.' Auctor said.
'Right, so we're clear now?' I said.
'I think so,' Auctor said. 'now where was I?'
Auctor then pressed the button for the elevator and the doors have opened. He and I then get inside the elevator, Auctor then pressed the button marked with the words "ESCAPE PODS" on it. The doors then closes and the elevators go down. After five seconds, we have reached a hallway with circular doorways leading to the spherical capsules that is the escape pods.
'We will be escaping this prison through the escape pods.' Auctor said.
'Why the escape pods?' I asked.
'There are a lot of guards here on the flight deck, it's best to use the pods.' Auctor replied.
'I understand.' I said.
Auctor and I approached the door leading to Pod A and opened it by pulling the lever down on the ride side of the door, inside was controls along with a steering stick and five chairs with seat belts around the pod.
'Sit right here.' Auctor said.
I sat down to the left seat in front of the controls while Auctor sits on the right seat. The screen in front of us showed up, with text saying to jettison the pod. Auctor tapped the button to release the pod.
'Escape Pod releasing in Five...' A female voice said.
the seat belts above us then descended towards us, locking us in place.
'Four...Three...'
'Prepare yourself.' Auctor said.
'Two...One...Releasing Escape Pod.'
A huge force then sent me back onto the seat, the pod has been released and a huge thrust has emanated. Through the windscreen, I could see the millions of stars shining and glaring at us, It is what I am now seeing to the naked eyes of mine. The radio then began to beep.
'Pod A, you are have been unauthorised for the jettison of the pod. Divert immediately or you will be shot down.' The radio barked.
'They know.' Auctor said.
He then proceeds to activate the boosters on the pod to gets some more speed.
'This is your last chance, divert now or you will be shot!' The radio barked again.
'I hope you be prepared for this, MA-412294.' Auctor said.
The screen then began to display incoming missiles from the Porsintewor's cannons. Auctor began to make loops and circles to evade the missiles, once the missiles are dodged they continue to go straight. The station fired their missiles at us five times until we got far away from it's range, I am starting to feel sick from the loops.
'Looks like we're outside it's range.' Auctor said.
'Where will we go?' I asked,
'Good question, if you come back to Asticus then you will be sentenced to death. Let me see.' Auctor replied.
He got towards the screen to search for planets in the Milky Way Galaxy, where Iraticus is located at. Auctor then tapped towards a planet labelled "Earth" and showed up results for it. The results show that the planet has oxygenated air, solid crust, strong gravity, populated by humans and orbits around the Sun, a star that has a planetary system called the Solar System.
'This is where we will go.' Auctor said.
'Earth? I thought that we will never go back to this planet forever.' I said.
'It has been thousands of years ago, they would mostly forget that we had existed.' Auctor said.
'Oh, that makes sense.' I said.
'Alright, our destination is now set to Earth.' Auctor said.
The pods boosters then began to go faster and faster as it makes their way to Earth.
After five hours, the pod was able to reach towards the Solar System, they have seen the planets Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and then Earth, their destination.
'Here we are, Earth.' Auctor said.
'So that's how it really looks like.' I said.
'We will be landing in the North American Continent.' Auctor said.
The pod than began a dive towards the continent of North America at full speed. The pod was able to reach the atmosphere of the planet and it's gravity is now pulling the pod into itself. The pod then reached the surface of the Earth, it's skies blue and filled with clouds. They were above an ocean and could see some land in the distance. Auctor launched the pod's parachute but it didn't really help on slowing down the pod. The piece of land had sand in it and a mountain on it.
'We will be crashing onto this piece of land, brace yourself.' Auctor said.
After a few minutes, the pod crashed landed in the sand, causing a big explosion from it. Luckily, the pod didn't blew up. The seat belts then unfastened itself and we are now able to get off from the seats. as I stood up, I feel like I weigh a ton, probably caused from the Earth's gravity. The pod's door was then blasted off and I got out of the pod only to be blinded by the sun for a moment. Once the blindness had stopped, I started to feel uneasy for some reason. I began limping and struggling to move my legs.
'Easy there, you are being exposed to the Earth's atmosphere. You will be alright.' Auctor said, holding my arm to his shoulder.
When I lifted my head, my vision is all blurry but I could make out some figures standing in front of me. Before I would pass out, a voice from a boy came out from one of them.
'Are you guys okay?'
