Percy walked through New Rome. So much had changed since the giants attacked . He looked around him and found himself surrounded by beautiful roman houses. He admired the beautiful view for a moment before turning into a smaller alleyway. Percy walked down the alley and turned into a building which was a labotory.
He turned to look at the notice board. The thing seemed to be in good condition. The board was important, if it was not changed for a day, it meant that the labotory was not supervised. He checked the thing carefully, it would be suicide to enter the compound without checking if it was safe. Any monster hybrid or dangerous organism could kill him easily. Even if the lead scientist was his amazingly smart girlfriend, Annabeth. He looked at the date, the date was wrong! His heart dropped to his liver. He grabbed his sword and ran into the compound.
Percy's heartbeat increased rapidly. His ADHD kicked in, he noticed different things. The table in the hallway had a still steaming coffee on the table. It meant that someone was here lately. Something was wrong.
