Disclaimer: I own nothing. That's probably a good thing.

She never had permanent plans, and even when she did, they often had small loopholes, places to backtrack, 'side notes' in case something went wrong. She was the leader, she was the plan. As long as she was the plan, nothing went wrong. Because when something clearly went wrong, it wasn't part of the plan, which had been said, was herself. Therefor, nothing went wrong, and went accordingly to the plan.

She liked complicated things, things that were hard to crack, things that rarely made sense to anyone but her...and her.

Because Canaan was the plan as well. Canaan was the only other thing that could destroy the plan. Therefor, Canaan's part of the plan must iabsolutely be stopped before her's was.

That was where Maria came in, the 'side note', the missing link that had the potential to both weaken and fortify Canaan.

Now, as she lay shattered and broken amongst the jagged rocks, the river babbling beside her as the roar of the train overhead passed, she smirked to herself and choked out loud, "all according to plan."

Because now there was only one Canaan. And the ghost of the Canaan she was meant to be was destroyed, along with Siam.
