Kaibacest if you squint and stand on your head, but mostly just a brotherly story. I love the dynamic between Seto and Mokuba. Enjoy the fic, and please review!

Mokuba is growing taller. Where before he was all baby-fat and little-boy soft, he's lean and angular, more like a man than a child. His voice cracks, and his joints ache. He's lost track of how many centimeters he's grown.

Seto pretends not to notice. It makes no difference, really, he's never treated Mokuba as anything but an equal. What changes if he acknowledges that his brother is not a child?

Mokuba still likes to lean against his brother. He considers himself too old for cuddling, but he still likes the feeling of warmth and security that Seto gives him.

Seto pretends not to miss the days when Mokuba would crawl into his bed, and he could sleep curled around his brother. Seto was both protecting and protected by Mokuba.

Mokuba doesn't like sweets as much as he used to. Many foods he once loved he finds cloying, too sweet and sticky to stand. He's developed a taste for coffee, and is starting to copy his nii-sama's unhealthy sleeping habits.

Seto tries to talk to Mokuba about this change, but Mokuba only smiles frustratingly at him.

"Nii-sama, you're many things, but a hypocrite isn't one of them," he says, "Besides, I have to keep up with you."

He leans over and kisses Seto's cheek. Seto scowls, but says nothing. He pretends Mokuba's lips left a sticky-sweet spot on his cheek instead of the tang of coffee, and misses his baby brother, while loving his grown-up one.
