"TRAVIS STOLL! I SWEAR ON THE RIVER STYX I WILL SEND YOU TO HELL IF YOU DON'T COME OUT THIS VERY INSTANT!"

"Ah you see my love," he said calmly coming out of the bushes, "I would take blame for this beautifully executed prank… but I didn't do it."

"Haha. Funny. I'm not in the mood for games of lying and deception," A sour expression on her face.

"Katie I'm not lying. If I did this… it would be more meaningful. As I said it was gorgeously preformed, but it wasn't from the heart which is how I roll."

"Gods Travis. Stop it with the act I know you did it. I'm done with this. You're infuriating."

"That's why you love me."

"In you're dreams creep."

"Oh c'mon Katie. Just one little kiss" he patted his cheek and puckered his lips.

"Katie then did something she never would of done had it not been for his snide comment. She reached up, grabbed his shirt and kissed him. It was a kiss she should of been ashamed of. But she had enjoyed that more than she will ever admit. And right then and there, she was on the edge. She could fall right now if she wanted. But she just… couldn't...

That was three weeks later and they hadn't spoken to each other besides courtesy hellos and goodbyes. And Travis couldn't take it any more.

"When are we going to stop avoiding this Katie. You can't prevent the inevitable. Katie?" he called through the door.

"Never. There isn't anything to talk about." she said from her bed in the cabin.

"Katie, please?" he begged.

The door swung open suddenly swung in to the room. "Travis, please leave me alone nothing happened worth remembering." she said beginning to close the door again. She got about halfway when Travis's hand shot out.

"There was a lot that happened and we need to talk Katie. I cant do this. Its been weeks."

"Can we make that months" came her mumbled voice.

"Katie please. Five minutes. Please."

"Travis I don't want to do this now"

"Well I do. I cant spend another day thinking about something I don't even know was real."

"Then don't think about it."

"ITS NOT THAT EASY KATIE! I'm not like you. I think about a situation over and over again until I physically resolve the issue. I need to talk. Please?"

"Fine."

"Thank you,"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Well?" Katie said impatiently tapping her foot. Slowly but surely a blush began to creep up to her cheeks.

"Katie… I really like you. Okay? It's hard for me to say. I know I'm known as a player-ish sort of thing but I'm not. Gods Katie! It's so freaking hard to explain to the one girl you actually want to date that you're not the person she thinks you are. I spend every day thinking about this day. And I just don't want to screw it up and-" he paused and looked at Katie. "Wait. You're laughing at me"

"Travis…" she laughed, 'you are so busy being adorable you don't even realise it." she managed.

"You are so mean. I was trying to be all sentimental and sweet and you are laughing at me and calling me adorable. That's so… wait. Adorable?"

"Gods yes, Travis. Just listening to you makes me smile. I cant even begin to explain how perfect you are. I love you so much Travis. I just couldn't say it with out knowing that you reciprocated my feelings… '

Travis began to beam. Katie soon followed suit. They stood like that for awhile. Not saying anything, just smiling at each other. It was Travis who broke the silence.

"So can I like kiss you know or…"

"You idiot" she mumbled as she pressed her lips to his, standing on her toes to reach.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Well that was lovely…"

"Mmmhmm" a smile spread across Katie's face.

"Well… See you, Sweetie pie!"

"Don't call me that!"
