On Your Left
I do not own the Avengers in any way.
The one thing that the Avengers loved doing was working out together.
Pietro, Steve, Sam, and Bucky were the runners of the group.
Madison, Natasha, and Clint worked on shooting and aiming, although Madison sometimes paired off with Wanda to work on her powers.
Bruce, Thor, and Vision didn't really need to work out, so they usually helped the others.
Tony and Rhodey didn't really work out either. They much preferred to test and work on their suits.
Today, Madison was working on her powers with Wanda.
The two had become quite close since Madison had started dating Pietro.
Not even a few minutes into their training, she heard "On your left" and "On you right". She giggled as she heard Sam groan.
"On your left" was used as a joke between the two soldiers and apparently Steve had let Bucky in on the joke, just to annoy Sam.
Madison walked over to where Pietro was standing.
Pietro smiled and dropped a kiss on her lips.
"So I've been thinking…" Madison told him.
Pietro smirked. "What?" he asked her.
"After months of having to listen to those three…" Pietro cut her off.
"I got it", he said. He kissed her head before making his way up to the running track. Within seconds Pietro had said "On your left" about 10 times.
After a few more laps, the three men were starting to get really annoyed.
A few minutes later, Sam, Steve, and Bucky were glaring at Pietro, who was still smirking.
"Man, you are so lucky I don't have my wings on right now", Sam said.
"I'm faster than the speed of light. I doubt you could keep up, old man", Pietro taunted.
By this time, Madison and Wanda had dissolved into giggles.
"What are you laughing at?" Sam asked.
This caused the two girls to only laugh harder.
Pietro flashed down to where Madison was.
"Wait a minute. Did you put him up to this?" Sam asked her.
"Of course not", Madison said, trying to keep a straight face.
The only one of the three men who wasn't angry was Steve. He, unlike the other two, was used to Madison's sense of humor.
"I've been listening to you two", she said pointing at Steve and Bucky, "Say the same damn phrase for 4 months. I thought it was time to give you a taste of your own medicine".
"So you enlisted the help of your annoying boyfriend?" Sam asked.
"Only you guys think he's annoying", Madison reminded them.
"Yeah, he's a goddamn prince", Steve muttered.
"LANGUAGE!" everyone yelled at him.
