Tears Fall

Tears Fall

Tears fall at birth, from both the babies and their mothers, and much of the time, fathers too. Molly knows this, but it doesn't stop them falling every time she holds her newest bundle of joy in her arms. She cried the most the last time, sad mixing with happy, knowing it would be her last child, but also that she finally had the child she had waited for. A Girl.

Tears Fall

Tears fall at a wedding, sometimes the bride, sometimes the groom, but most of the time it is the onlookers. Molly knows this, but it doesn't stop her from crying each time one of her babies get married. She cried the most when Ginny married. Her little girl, her youngest child, all grown up. It made her feel old.

Tears Fall

Tears fall when you get hurt, injured. Especially as a child. Molly knows this, and has mopped up many tears over the years, and has fixed many injuries. Her own tears fell when George suffered the worst injury of her children to date, and lost his ear. The true beginning of the war for the Weasley Family.

Tears Fall

Tears fall when someone dies. A wife cries over her husband, or a husband cries over her wife. A sister cries over a brother, or a brother cries over a sister. A Child cries over a parent. The worst kind of cried are those of a parent over a child. No parent should ever out live a child. It is the worst kind of pain. Molly knows this, though she wishes she didn't.

Tears Fall

Tears fall at a funeral. Mourners gather together, grief the emotion over the day, as tearful goodbyes are made. Molly knows this, and yet as she watches people cry over her son, she feels numb. Over the days since he died, she has cried enough tears to fill a lake, but there are no more left inside her.

No amount of falling tears will ever fetch her Freddie back.
