How he did it...

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Harry Potter, nor any of the characters associated with them. They belong to Joss Whedon and JK Rowling, respectively. I am not making any money off of this story/blurb (whatever) so don't sue, some part of me actually wants to go to college.
Note: I just wrote this on a whim, doubt it will go anywhere, if you want to expand upon it, tell me.
Archiving: hell, if you want it, go for it, just tell me and attach my e-mail address to it (rogue17hawk@yahoo.com) so that I can hopefully get replies.

Yeah, he had defeated Voldemort, but he hadn't done it alone.
His reasoning? Simple, he was researching different battle tactics as well as for a paper in Defense against the Dark Arts when he came across the legend of the Slayer, it intrigued him. One girl in all the world, reminded him of, well, him. Then he read about the current slayer, how she was slightly unorthodox, but the longest lived.
She fought with her friends, the Scoobies they called themselves, and together they had been able to defeat the first evil, not to mention activate slayers all over the world, reminding him of Ginny and her new abilities, hmmm, have to talk to Dumbledore about that, he thought at that time.
As it turned out, Ginny Weasley had been called as a slayer, one of many now in existence around the world now. It had been her abilities that had helped him greatly, not to mention the resourcefulness of Hermione, the back up of Ron, and the new found bravery of Neville.
In fact, it was because of Ginny's new found fate that Harry and the rest of Hogwarts had been able to meet the infamous slayer and her crew. Upon meeting him she told him that he couldn't escape his destiny any more than she could, but that he didn't have to follow the rules laid down, he could, "fudge them up a bit."
He'd thought about that, and after hearing Buffy's story about how she died the first time, because of a prophecy. She had obviously come back, thanks to the 'wonders of the Xander-shaped friend.' And then knowing that she came back, even though she was supposed to die, he realized that, yeah, he could defeat Voldemort. Harry had the 'power' Voldemort did not know he had, the power to do so, simply no one told him where that 'power' came from, just as no where in Buffy's prophecy did it say that she couldn't come back from the dead. Harry decided after that story that his power, like Buffy's, came from his friends and that was how he had defeated Voldemort.
So Voldemort was gone, what was the new fear in town?
Telling Mrs. Weasley that he and Ginny were dating.
