NOTE : Erik is not deformed in this I don't know if there is a lake in New York or not.

Chapter 1 : MEETING THE ORPHANS

Somewhere in New York on a gloomy 4'o clock. small boy is sitting near a lake on very highly raised platform. He is an orphan. He is part of an orphanage by the name of Little Angels. But neither is he little and definitely not an angel.

His age is 11 and he like to call himself ERIK. He is a very instinctive guy who takes tricky decisions in life. He is really possessive towards the things he considers his.

He wants a friend for himself. He writes that in his diary. He is recently orphaned so he doesn't have any friends as he's new.

Now he goes towards the gate of the orphanage ,climbing up the stairs going even higher,that is perfectly adjacent to the lake. He gets to the kitchen, catches hold of a banana and again goes near the stairs in front of the orphanage.

He sits there and eats his banana and keeps the peel besides him on the stairs.

After a few moments a big running crowd of girls and boys comes out of the door.

They run through the stairs but none of them puts their foot on the banana peel. Suddenly a boy who is in the last of the queue steps on the banana. Erik decides that this boy is now chosen as his best friend by destiny.

Erik goes on to sit again at the same raised platform near the dock. Suddenly the same boy comes and threatens Erik," You there ! What are you doing in my spot ? What is your name ? I am Raoul and now leave immediately !"

Erik turns and smirks.

" I am Erik and I want to be your best friend ."

He said it like a command. Raoul says," How can you be my friend. Friends help each other and then they become best friend so first you need to help me in something if you want to be my friend."

Erik stands up and then grabs Raoul's hand and throws him into the deep blue waters. Raoul not knowing swimming is drowning. He screams, " HELP ! HELP ! HELP ERIK , HELP !"

Erik sneering takes off his shirt and jumps into the water and saves him. Raoul is still coughing and looking confusedly at Erik.

" Why…"

Interrupting him Erik says," I've helped you now as you said. Now you are my best friend according to your rule."

Raoul looks angrily at Erik but is frightened of him so silently accepts.

Someweeks later

Erik has now grown possessive of Raoul and doesn't allow any other girl or boy near Raoul. He wants Raoul to be only his friend that annoys Raoul and makes hm hate Erik.

At dinnertime, a rich but childless businessman has arrived and wants to adopt a child. All put out their best front on front of him. Raoul has become exceptionally sweet.

Erik is emotionless as usual. The rich man has chosen 2 children Erik and Raoul. They are receiving jealous glares from everyone. He finally decides to choose Erik. Seeing this Raoul has become really mad and now is really jealous of Erik. Erik senses this. The man asks for water and Erik goes to bring a glass. But instead of placing the glass in his hand he splashes the water at the face of the rich man.

The rich man surprised and furious thrashes Erik . The rich man instead decides to adopt Raoul. Raoul is confused so as to why Erik did so but is nevertheless very happy and considers himself superior to him and regards Erik as an insane brat.

Raoul smirks at Erik mockingly giving an air of winnings.

Erik's countenance is still emotionless.

Raoul leaves without even waving at Erik a friendly goodbye.

He has failed to see that this was the first sacrifice of the many that were going to be made by Erik for Raoul.

Note: I know I have written that Erik is possessive over Raoul but remember it that ERIK IS NOT A GAY in this story.
