Sighing coldly, Vlad sat up in his chair to scan the screen of his computer. There had to be something that could help him get Daniel on his side. Something supernatural, something powerful like him. He needed help desperately to get what he wanted. He wanted Daniel to be at his side so soon he get Maddie as well.
"I can help you." a seductive voice stated. Startled, Vlad glanced around the room to see a pale bony hand reach out from the darkness in a corner of the room.
"Who are you?" Vlad questioned, standing up in alert. A wicked laugh erupted echoing around the room.
"My name is Pierce..." the owner of the voice stepped out of the darkness. Obsidian hair flowed down past the man's shoulders as he gracefully walked up to Vlad. Blood red eyes studied Vlad as the man circled around him.
"Pierce...What do you want?" Vlad inquired as he narrowed his eyes.
"Nothing but revenge...that's what you want right?" the man named Pierce replied.
"...Not entirely, just on my former best friend...I want to take his wife, son and daughter away from him." Vlad stated.
"Hmm...I can help you...but just one condition..." Pierce said as he stepped closer to Vlad.
"...What would that be?" Vlad inquired as he turned away from Pierce. Pierce smiled maliciously.
"To become half vampire..." Pierce answered leaning even closer to Vlad's face.
"Half vampire? What if I say no?"
"You want more power right? I can see it in your eyes."
"...Yes...I do want power...Alright, I accept."
Pierce smile grew as he leaned to kiss Vlad's neck and bite down roughly. Vlad felt the intense pain and cried out in anguish. After a few minutes he felt Pierce pull away and Vlad slumped to the floor. Pierce kneeled down beside Vlad quickly as he bit into his wrist and held his wrist out letting his blood drip into Vlad's mouth. Vlad licked the blood on his lips hungrily.
"Are you ready to get revenge?" Pierce asked Vlad as he watched the man stand up from the ground.
"Yes, my lord."
All was going according to plan, thought Pierce.
