Steven was outside enjoying the Fall Air. He wants to relax but everyone is freaking out about the Gem War coming up. Steven recalls something that happened a few weeks ago.
Connie: Steven! Do you even know what's even going to happen? This is a war everyone is talking about!, are you even worried?
Steven: I am but-
Connie: Then stop relaxing and help us try to come up with a plan!
Steven: I just want to relax! They won't be coming for a while. I'll decide when I will come to help.
Connie was very frustrated and walks off in anger.
Steven sighs on the memory and keeps on watching the sky.
Steven: It's been a few days now…I should try to help now.
Steven walks inside to find Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl talking. They are both startled to see Steven.
Pearl: Um…Hello Steven…we are just-
Steven: So what are we planning?
They were all surprised to see Steven taking apart in this, but they all knew that it would be good to take him along for the ride
