I am the lone voice
Crying out in the night.
But do you hear me?
I sit alone
In the dark shadows of light.
But do you see me?
I hold onto you
As if you were just a dream.
But do you feel me?
I died at the hand of my brother
I searched for the missing one
I lost friends
I lost brothers
I gave everything to this war
But do you know me?
And my spark now belongs to you
Never shall I forget
How you saved me
You never have to fear I may leave
Or never love you.
But do you love me?
So this was just a little poem I wrote in honor of After the Mighty Have Fallen as an apology for not updating in forever!
