10:39 PM
The hot California weather hit her cheek. She couldn't sleep. It was too hot to sleep comfortably. She turned her head slowly. Adam and Chase were in deep sleep. She stepped carefully onto the cold bare floor. She walked slowly to the door, evaluating every step. She could not make any noise. She did not want to be interrupted. When she reached the door, she looked back one last time.
She walked around the island. She was being very slow for the fastest girl in the world. She though it might be doubt. Was she doubting this? She can't be. This is what's best for everyone. Right?
She had to sit for a minute. To collect her thoughts. The room was silent. It made her even sadder. Do it. Just do it.
10:55
She walked up the stairs and onto the roof. The stars were beautiful that night. Or maybe they are every night, and she just never had the time to notice. It felt like a daze. Almost like it wasn't even real. Every step... getting closer and closer... and closer.
11:04
She was at the edge now. She climbed over the railing. She looked at the vicious waves below. Was she really doing this? Is this what her life was coming to?
Bree?
She ignored her thoughts. It all in her head. She closed her eyes and raised her arms.
Bree!
She leaned off of the railing. She could feel her self falling. Then...
Bree!
A tight hand grabs her wrist. Stopping her free fall. She looked to see who had done this. A tall boy with dark skin and beautiful brown eyes. He was trying to help her back to the other side of the railing.
What are you doing out here? Are you okay?
He continues to yell in a somewhat concerning tone. She can't seem to register what he's saying though. Still in a sad daze.
11:23
How could you even think to do this to us?
We couldn't live without you Bree.
You're beautiful, why can't you see it?
The boy had led her back to her family. She just wanted to cry, but she couldn't. She want them to think she was weak. Well, weaker than she already was. They eventually let her go to bed.

They didn't let her train students the next day. Instead Bree got up late. Everybody was already training. She sat and ate breakfast alone. It made her sad. She got up and went the the training room. She was abruptly stopped by Chase.
"I told you that you didn't have to train students today."
She didn't have the energy to argue with him. She brushed past him and sat on the floor. Bree leaned her back against the wall. Chase was still watching her. He was saying something quietly. Probably so other students couldn't hear. Something about how she should go lay down. How much she worries him. He only sighs and goes back to teaching his students.
9:27
A few students had come up to me, to ask if I was alright. "Yeah, I'm fine." Liar.
Then a boy came and sat next to Bree. She almost didn't notice, being so in her own world. He slowly lifted my head up. It was the guy who stopped me last night. I rip his hand away from my face. "Who are you?" She tried to sound angry, but it came out as more of a whisper.
"Noah." He raised his hand for me to shake it, but I just continue to glare at him. He lowers his hand, embarrassed. "I'm a student here. Specifically one of Adam's students."
She guessed that's why she's never seen him before. She wondered why he saved her. Why he even cared about her.
"We should talk. Come on." He stood and reached for her hands. She continued to look at the ground. "Come on. It's so boring here." I sigh and take his hands. When he lifts me up, I fall into him a little.
"Don't you have training?" I realize.
"I should, but who cares."
"That's one thing we can agree on." I mumble.
