She didn't have to love him.

But she had chose to. She gave him her heart and she took his.

He didn't have to love her.

If he didn't, the pain would've have not been so bad for Ino. He just had to fall for her and get his heart stolen while still on the ground.

Where he would permenantly be later on.

He didn't have to go.

He didn't have to come with Ino. He didn't have to save her life.

He didn't have to die.

She shouldn't have made so much noise, she didn't have to attract so much attention. If she didn't...

He would be alive this Christmas. He would be under the mistletoe with her, giving her a kiss.

Instead, she would be kissing his cold lips. Ones that would not open and talk to her.

Ones that would not part into a laugh that only Ino could hear.

Ones that would not turn up into a smirk.

Ones that would never tell her loved her once more.

She didn't have to come.

If she didn't, she would have never needed to accept that he was gone.

Missing.

He still owned her heart.

And she still had his heart.

The one that had stopped beating on that day when the kunai went right through it.

Making his heart stop.

And Ino's heart break.

Ino's heart still belongs to him, still beats for him even though she wished it stopped when Sasuke's did.

She wished he was holding her in his arms this Christmas.

Instead of her holding these flowers that were for him.

She wished none of this happened.

And sadly...

It didn't have to.

Ok, it may not have made sense because I haven't written fanfiction in a longass time. (And I wrote it in five minutes)

But tell me what you think please. If you want to. :)

Merry Christmas, even though Ino's isn't. :(
