Pro – Night of the Storm
A/N: I know I have A LOT of other stories to do but when you get an idea, what do you do? You write it down and share it with the world. Lol, tell me what you think. This might only be a short story and I know that the prologue is REALLY short. I might post up chapter 1 soon, depends on how long I intend it on being…my sizes in chapters is changing so it might be 2500-3000 words or up to 4000-5000 words. Enjoy and be sure to review!

The storm raged on with pouring rain and lightning flashed, lighting up the whole plane of white flowers. A girl stood shocked, staring before her at a tall man with dark skin and black hair that stood in front of her with his arms held out in protection. She blinked her red eyes as she watched something red soak the back of his grey shirt. The man grunted as he fell to his knees and the man figure in front of him pulled his sword back.
"N-n-nii-san?" the girl muttered quietly, startled and almost unable to speak. Her large black cat ears twitched as she glanced at the figure, her long black hair flying in the wind as strands stuck to her face.
"And now child, it is your turn" the figured murmured in a calm but cold steel voice of a man.
"N-no!" The girl shouted, "St-stay b-back!" she took some steps back but tripped over a rock.
The figure smirked under his hood as he took a step closer but was stopped by something grabbing his leg.
"You…you stay away from her" the man quietly grunted, obviously in pain as more blood flowed from the wound on his chest. Blood had also spilled from his mouth and trailed down his chin.
"Ni-nii-san!" the girl shouted.
"Kikari! Run!" he shouted at her as he glared at her with matching red eyes.
"B-but…Nii-san…"
"Stop calling me that!" he growled, "I'm not your brother anymore. Now run!"
Kikari got up slowly and took a few more steps back, "…Nii-s-"
But she was cut off, "Run, dammit!" He got to his feet and grabbed the blade of the figure's sword. "Run!"
Kikari nodded, turned and ran as fast as she could, wiping tears from her eyes that mixed with the rain. She stopped short at a cry of pain and the thud of a body hitting the ground. She turned to see her brother's body lying on the ground, not moving. He stared at her with blank red eyes, eyes that no longer held any life. She covered her mouth with her hands and tried to hold in her cries and tears but they wouldn't stay in her. She turned and ran way, tears now flowing freely down her cheeks. She could no longer hold in the cry and she just let it out. She shouted it to the heavens, hoping that he would hear her.
"KUROGANE!"
