I have to find him…. Sakura thought to herself. I have to kill him. She ran as fast as her legs could go, trying with all her might to not shed a single tear. Then she stopped at a clearing. And there staring back at her was the one with the crimson eyes. His katana drawn to a woman with red hair and a gushing wound on her chest.
"S-Sasuke-kun…."
She said with widened emerald eyes. Crimson met emerald. And she saw everything. She saw his hatred, his sorrow, his lust for revenge, the monster that he has become. The monster that she loved. She slowly walked towards him until they were at arm's length. She slowly raised her hand and cupped his pale and beaten cheek. Never breaking eye contact. He tensed at the touch, but soon relaxed. He closed his eyes and absorbed all the unfamiliar warmth that he longed. That was it. Sakura could not hold it in anymore. Tear after tear, they fell off her porcelain skin.
"Please….just stop…"
Sasuke released his katana and it dropped to the ground.
"Please…just-"
Sasuke's eyes widened in horror. Blood was splattered on his face. Her blood. A sword had pierced Sakura's chest. She coughed blood.
"Sas...uke…kun..."
The cherry blossom collapsed on the floor, almost...dead.
"Now now Sasuke we have more important business to take care of."
Madara….. The rouge-nin was furious but he didn't know why…
"That was not necessary.."
"Sure it was. She is just a distraction"
Sasuke's reason had now gone out the window. He picked the frail kunoichi up bridal style and stared at her.
Is she dead? Sasuke thought.
No….she can't be….no...no…
"Hey Sasuke-kun! Want to go on a date with me?"
"No."
"Sasuke-kun! You're alright!
"NO! STOP!"
"Naruto, you have to protect Sakura no matter what..."
"I LOVE YOU SO MUCH IT HURTS!"
"DON'T LEAVE ME!"
"Sakura…..thank you"
Just then, a single tear shed from the Uchiha. And with that, they disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"It seems that boy has a soft spot…" Madara said to himself.
