Chapter one: Reunited with a job
Cobb unlocked the warehouse doors, scrubbing his hand over his face as set out two chairs, one for him and one for the person he was supposed to meet. The person asked for Cobb's team specifically to do this job. Cobb had told the person a female to meet him here so they could talk without other peoples ears hearing, of course the other members of the team would be there to. He took the spinning top out his pocket and smiled as he spun it and the top fell, of course this was reality and he knew it. He had dropped his kids of at school that morning and was finally settling back into his job as father, but some part of him missed his team, the part the immediatley thought accepting this latest job was a great idea. Cobb heard the door of the warehouse open as someone came in.
"Hey Arther."
"Hey Dom. So whats the job?"
"Memory unlocking. Heard anything from Ariadne?"
"Yeah she is coming."
Cobb nodded satisfied that their Architect would make it after not being able to make contact with her. Suddenly Eames walked in
"Ello!" he said in a all to cheery tone for that time of the morning.
"Hello Eames." Cobb said but before Eames could say anything Yosph walked in followed by Ariadne. They all reunited, talking about life since the Fischer job as they awaited the arrival of their client.
"Hows Dom coping as a Daddy again then?" Eames asked with a smile.
"Just great, and best of all its real" Cobb replied visibly happy to have part of his old life back. The conversation ended there as a knock sounded on the warehouse door. Eames answered it, in front of him was a woman in her early fourties with brown hair which curled slightly, she was in a airhostess outfit with a scarf tied loosley round her neck, Eames looked at her 'she looks like...Mal." he said.
"You must be Mrs Reid." he said kindly, to the woman,
"Yes I was told to come here by Mr Cobb." the woman replied.
"Right this way." Eames said to her stepping out the way so she could come in.
Mrs Reid smiled as she walked in the building was dusty and cold, she shivered slightly as Eames led her to where the team was.
"Mrs Reid have a seat." that was Arther his gentleman like ways making Ariadne smile.
"Please call me Amanda!" Mrs Reid replied as Cobb stepped forward.
"Mrs Reid this is my team, Arther, Eames, Yusef and Ariadne, I belive you have a job for us?" Cobb said pointing to each member in turn and then back to Amanda
"Yes, unlocking a blocked memory." Amanda replied
"and why do you need this memory unlocking?" Eames questioned
"To help in a court case." Amanda replied when the team looked close the woman seemed stressed.
"Okay who's the subject?" Cobbs asked
"My son!" was Amanda's response to the team.
