Sorry this is really short. It's just the intro…Please R&R. This is my first PhanPhic and I would love constructive criticism. Thank you! I own no part of Love Never Dies. (And if I did I would have never gotten rid of Ramin Karimloo) I'm a big fan of ALW's music…just not his plot. So this is my take. Enjoy!
"Christine! Christine! ALWAYS CHRISTINE!"
A single shot rang out. As soon as she had pulled the trigger, Meg could feel that she had made a mistake. But isn't this what she wanted? To be free of Christine. No. A mistake. She knew that Christine was a part of her life. Whether Christine was singing in front of her or a voice in her head or an endless amount of guilt on her conscience, Christine would never leave her. In what seemed to be the slowest seconds of Little Giry's life she finally tore her eyes away from the ground to looked at Christine. Her face moved a bit, into what seemed to form the word "Meg" and The Phantom's Angel of Music fell foreword, blood dripping from the wound, into the arms of her son. Poor Gustave, a child, just a child, but now a child with no mother. Another twinge of guilt. Meg remembered her own childhood, how empty her life was without her Papa. She was Gustave's age when he died.
"No, I didn't mean to!" But the words were empty. She knew exactly what she was trying to do. Down to the last cell, the last fiber of her being, Meg knew...she wasn't as innocent as she tried to talk herself into being. Besides, what was the point now? She had a murder on her conscience. It would only be a matter of time until Christine would be dead and she would be in jail for her crimes. Or would it?
