''it's a boy!'' a doctor says
Claire Fletcher and Shane Wolfe have just given birth to a baby boy Colin Shane Fletcher-Wolf.
the nurses put him on Claire's chest and start wiping him off and wrapping him up
''how ya doing hunnie?'' he asks Claire gently brushing her hair off her forehead
''tired but really happy he's here and beautiful and that he looks exactly like his daddy and he has everything his daddy has.'' she tells him
''yea he is and does.'' he kisses her happily
''I love you.'' she tells him
''I love you more.'' he tells her
''I should call Rory she would like to see and meet him.'' she tells him
''yea.'' he does
''hand me my purse.'' she tells him
''okay.'' he says and does
Claire goes through it and finds her cell phone and calls Rory.
''hello...'' Rory says
''hey hunnie.'' Claire says
''oh hey mom is he here?'' Rory asks her
''he's here!'' Claire tells her
''aww so how is he?'' Rory asks her
''he's good he's big and beautiful just like his daddy.'' Claire tells her
''aww how much does he weigh?'' Rory asks her
''7 pounds 10oz's.'' Lorelai tells her
''wow he's a big baby!'' Rory says
''yea.'' Lorelai says and smiles
''and how is daddy...shane doing?'' Rory asks her
''he's great.'' Claire tells her and smiles
''aww that's so great congradulations Mom!'' Rory tells her
''thanks kid.'' claire says
