I don't own Coach Carter or anyone in it..i wish i did though!
The whole Richmond High School basketball team was sitting in the library, waiting for their coach. Coach Ken Carter told his boys that they had to have a 2.3 GPA in order to play. So, he was keeping tabs on their school work, getting the teachers to give him progress reports.
"Alright boys, here we go. By the looks of it, you're ALL FAILING at LEAST ONE COURSE! So, I'm ordering you all to get tutored, by someone your own age who doesn't go to Richmond. Now, it's either you get tutored, or you don't play. What's it gonna be?"
"I'm getting tutored," Jason Lyle pipped up. "Give me the name and where to be."
"Good for you Mr. Lyle. You have Algebra 1 tutoring in 15 minutes. You have to meet your tutor in the Gym." Coach handed him the teacher recommendation sheet as Jason grabbed his books and left the library.
Gym? Why does he want me to meet...Charli Philpott in the gym? I hope she's one foxy lady. Wait, she better be one foxy lady.
Jason opened the gym door and began the walk to the floor. As he got closer, he heard the bounce of a basketball, the click of high heels and the constant "swish" of the net. Just as he got onto the court he felt the pair of heels hit his feet.
"I'm soo sorry," the girl, who he assumed to be Charli said as she jogged over to him. She was beautiful..none of this foxy bullsht. She had on and pair of tight blue jeans, and a black lacy top. Her hair was pulled back in a messy bun and she had limited make-up on. Over the top, she had on a basketball jersey, HCPHS (Holy Cross Private High School) was writen on it. "You're Jason right? I'm Charli."
"Why'd you take your shoes off?"
"I can't do lay-ups in 3-inch heels now, can I? Well, I probably could, but I'm not in the mood for a 3-hour wait at the emergency room."
"Good point. You play I take it." Jason said as he set his bag and books down.
"Yep, well...not basketball anymore. I hurt my wrist a couple of years ago, so I now play soccer. I miss it though," She said as she took a jump shot.
'Not bad."
"So, do you wanna get started or what?"
"Are we gonna do it here?"
"Why not? It's quite and no one will bother us," Charli said as she walked over to the bleachers and picked up Jason's report. "Hmmm, interesting. Looks like we've got a lot of work ahead of us, and only a little while to do it. What exactaly don't you understand?"
"Everything," was his reply as he sat next to her and took out the textbook.
"Right, well...let's get started"
Jason and Charli spent two hours together that day, going over basic algebra equations. Time was up. She told Jason to call her if he needed any help, and that she'd see him on Monday.
I'm soo gonna get with this girl. I think I love her.
A/N: Right, well..there's chapter one. I'm gonna follow as close to the movie as I possibly can. If you got any suggestions..let me know in your reviews
