"Why do you think it's s cold during Christmas?" Merlin asked Arthur. "It's not raining or anything."

The blond prince shrugged. "Maybe it has to do with the stars-."

"Arthur!"

Both boys turned towards the door to see Uther running in with wide eyes. "You must come quick."

The three of them ran out of the chambers, Merlin and Arthur following Uther as the king walked towards the double doors leading outside. Uther pulled out his sword. "We are under attack." He said low. "There is nowhere to hide." He warned. "We will fight until the death."

Arthur pulled out his sword. "Where are the knights?"

Uther stared for a moment. "They have fled. It is only us."

Merlin's eyes widen, and he shook his head. "We can't go to war with only us!"

Uther only brought his hands to the doors, then slowly pulled. Arthur's mouth open when he saw Camelot completely empty. The prince put his sword back in his belt and walked out until he was at the bottom step. The prince shook his head. "There's no one here.

Uther shook his head, the king now stood by his son. "Watch." He whispered.

Suddenly the sky lit up.

"There is it!" Uther yelled.

Arthur frowned and looked towards his father confused. "Father, it's lightning. Means it's going to rain."

"The sky, look at its color."

Merlin looked up at the sky, suddenly ignoring the two royals next to him. The sky seemed to be pinkish and slight green. Then it happened. Merlin blinked when something fell on his face making him flinch. The boy brought his hand out and blinked confused.

Uther's eyes widen as the white fluffy stuff started falling faster. "What kind of sorcery is this!"

Arthur stared around with narrowed brows. "Someone must have powerful magic to create such-"

"It's not sorcery." Merlin said low.

Both royals turned to the boy whose hand was still stretched out. "It's cold... Like frozen rain." He laughed a little and shook his head. "It's beautiful."

Arthur's face softened and he watched as Merlin walked towards the middle of the square trying to catch more of the fluff.

Uther shook his head. "It must be affecting him." He said low. "The boy is now bewitched, we should go." He grabbed the prince's arm and tried pulling him.

But Arthur was stuck where he stood. The prince suddenly walked towards Merlin, never taking his eyes off the boy. When he reached Merlin, Arthur smiled at him when he noticed how much of an angel Merlin looked with the white fluff flying around him. And he also noticed how much the white fluff matched Merlin's skin.

Uther stared with wide eyes as his son leaned forward and pressed his lips to his servant's. "No!" The king yelled then ran as quick as he could towards the castle. Once inside the king shut the door and stood with his back to it, sobbing. "They took my son." He turned and slammed his hand against the doors. "NO!"

Arthur pulled his lips away and smiled at his lover. "What should we call this?" He whispered.

Merlin stared into his prince's eyes. "We'll call it Snow."
