A/N: I'm making good on that other promise. Here's the beginning to the sequel to Bittersweet. :)

Chapter 1 – Wedding Bells

My knee bounced up and down quickly and nervously. Aimi Arakaki, Mori's girlfriend, reached out her small hand and stopped it. "He'll be here Hotaru. You need to finish getting ready." she said in that soft, angelic voice of hers. I obeyed.

Today was the day I would marry Mitsukuni. But nobody had seen him yet. I was getting worried. Was he alright? Where was he? Was he coming at all? My mind raced wildly through every question possible.

I was wearing my mother's wedding dress. It was strapless and form-fitting down to my waist where it fanned out. It reminded me of a princess' dress and I loved it. I also wore my mother's veil that only came to the tip of my nose and was sheer white lace. It matched the white lace fingerless gloves I now put on. The dress hid my shoes but they were glass, 2 ½ inch heels that reminded me of that one Cinderella story. I had no make-up on – the way that Mitsukuni liked me to be, as natural as possible – and my hair was curled. I really did feel like a princess. Mitsukuni's princess.

Everyone from the host club was there. Mori was Mitsukuni's best man along with the other groom's men; Tamaki, Hikaru, and Kaoru. Kyouya was there as the coordinator. My bride's maids were Aimi, Renge, and Izumi (Megumi and Hachirou's biological daughter) while my maid of honor was Haruhi.

Then the wedding march music started. I took a deep breath and started down the aisle. My eyes looked for Mitsukuni and I let out a quiet, relaxed sigh as I found him standing exactly where he should be. I smiled more genuinely now. Everything would be alright.

At least today.
