Jirou knew. He saw that anger and hate within her. He saw that darkness surrounding her. He could feel it. After all, she was the other part of him. He did all that he could to make her light again. He offered to play with her. He'd often stand back and let her play with the master, but there was always that darkness. He felt that if he wasn't careful enough, he'd be caught in it as well. A darkness so consuming that there would definitely be no light left.
"Kojirou," he whined as he stared at the bird from the corner of his eye.
"Is something the matter boy?" Yamamoto grinned at the dog. Jirou looked over to Kojirou. "You want Kojirou to play with us?"
"Arf!" Jirou barked and wagged his tail.
"Alright! Let's get her!" He then ran with Jirou to the bird. "Ahaha! Kojirou!" And for a brief moment Jirou saw light in her dark world. There was hope, and he'd definitely save his other. No matter the costs, he would.
