This is about Terra's newfound freedom, and her choice to abandon her powers (and former friends) for the care free life of a teen. Which, we all know, really isn't so carefree, but I guess compared to having to face the guilt of her past it would be. Anyway, this is my first fanfic (poem), I randomly thought of it in math when I was supposed to be doing homework. PLEASE review, PLEASE! You would make my day brighter and happier and my life would be complete if I got a few reviews!

The Italics is the message on her gravemarker.

Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans, blah blah blah….if I did, would I be sitting here writing fanfics?

Terra-

A Teen Titan

A True Friend

This is what they wrote of me

How can I make it up to them

Now that I'm finally free?

What I did…it's unforgivable

Acts for which I can't atone

I can't return to them now…

Nor can I remain alone.

My powers were great and awful

The stones obeyed my every command.

They crumbled, caressed, crushed and flew

With just a flick of my hand.

If I choose not to use these powers

With which I am endowed

I could forget my troubles

Live life carefree as a cloud.

Perhaps if I became engrossed

In all that high-schoolers do

Maybe I could forget my past

And become someone normal-new.

He told me I could always change,

That it's never too late to try.

So I'll finally take his sage advice

And pray that he understands why.
