The Youngest Star-Children Leandro's Kendama

My name is Leandro, Son of Peach and Mario. Like my Father before me, I became a hero to the Mushroom people, to protect it from the Koopa Kingdom… or at least it would be from them if it weren't for the municipal merging of the two kingdoms. My sister, Pomegranate (Poma for short) my brother Gianni, and Bowser Jr. have been my best friends since Bowser Sr.'s… passing. We still don't know what happened.

I became very skilled with a hammer. But my abilities are more than just swinging and slamming a big metal hammer into anything that moves. My dad gave me a Kendama when I was old enough to use one without getting hurt. In the twenty years since Bowser Sr.'s untimely crossing, the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms have gained a new enemy.

The Yoros… one day, Gianni, Poma, Jr. and I were playing outside. It was at about that time that Yoro troops invaded the Castle.

"Gianni! Jr.!" I yelled. "Take Poma, and get dad! I'll try to hold them off!"

They grabbed her and ran. I picked up the only weapon I had at the moment, which was the Kendama. I swung the ball around, and threw it at the nearest Yoro. The Reptilian face was bashed in, and started bleeding on its way out. Another troop tried to catch me from behind, but I whacked him with the hammer part of the Kendama. The ball followed the impact and then the Yoros all attacked at once. I jumped, let them hit each other, and came down to smash their skulls.

My father figured out what happened when he came around.

"How did you do that?" he asked. I just looked at him and shook my head.

"Don't ask me."
