"Ah was de best Boy Scout you've ever seen," Remy said with a grin as he thought back on his days in the scouts.
As it turned out, Remy actually was really good at all that Boy Scout stuff in fact; he was a little bit too good at it.
Remy was the first in his troupe to earn the knot tying badge and when he raced home to show his brother what he could do, he ended up tying the knots so well that even he couldn't get them undone and his poor brother had to stay tied to the kitchen chair until his dad could come home and cut him loose.
It was just like when he got the fire starting badge; he was so good at that one that he accidentally set the garage on fire . . . twice. The same thing happened when he got the wood cutting badge and his dad came home to find that he'd turned the coffee table into kindling, and when he got the arts and crafts badge when he . . .
Now that he thought about it, incidents like those might be why his dad pulled him out of the scouts after just a week.
