Hello! How are you guys? Still reading my stories? I haven't bored you to death yet? Good. Then we'll begin. This is a three-hundred word-fanfiction. Meaning: it's really, really short. It's something I thought of when I recalled a certain scene in "Daleks in Manhattan".
Quotes taken from that very episode.
Disclaimer: I own nothing in the Doctor Who-universe. I'm just having a little fun with it's characters!
He grabbed Tallulah and pulled them towards the wall. Something someone once called "a giant pepper pot" glided past them silently. The Doctor felt a bit of himself dissolve.
"No,no, no, no, no, no, no." The words came out of his mouth unconsciously. He once again had the feeling that he was slowly dissolving. He could see Rose screaming in front of him. He was right there, feeling helpless, as she let go to put that leaver upright. A tiny, tiny part of him had thought that maybe, just maybe her sacrifice had been worth it. If they had finally left his life, it would have been worth it. But they were here, again, when he had lost not only Rose, but also an entire family.
"They survive, they always survive, when I lose everything."
He had lost Rose.
So later, when he screamed at the Daleks to kill him, he meant it. Because life without her was useless.
But then, when he once again came on the TARDIS, his home, it had given him something. On his bed, there was a photo of Rose. It was taken when they had been to the 2012 Olympic Games, and she looked radiant. On the backside of the photo, something was written with Rose's handwriting. It said:
If you read this, it means that I am gone. And I know how you can be when you don't have anyone to stop you. So do me a favour. Keep Fighting. For me.
I love you.
What do you think? How was it? Tell me in the reviews. Please, please do.
