A Strange Command
As Shinji walked through the corridors of Nerv, he sighed again and wondered how he got into this.
@"You requested me, Commander Ikari?" "Yes, Shinji. I have an order for you. You are not to tell anyone, not even Major Katsuragi," said Commander Ikari. / Wonder hat it is? / The commander gave him no time to further his thoughts as he told him. " You will stay with Pilot Ayanami for one month. She will teach you basic survival skills and advanced martial arts." "Why?" "You need to be able to take care of yourself outside the Eva. All other pilots can defend themselves" "b-b-but" Shinji stuttered. Commander Ikari held up his hand "I am well aware of your relationship with Pilot Sohryu, and of her violent tendencies when it xcomes to you, but believe me this is for the best." "Yes Commander Ikari" Shinji relied, for he know he would only dig himself deeper if he tried to argue." Yes Father"@
/Asuka's going to flip when she… of wait, I won't even get to explain myself, I really am doomed/ Shinji Thought. ^Asuka has forced Shinji into dating her, and he really hates it, and she finds even more reasons to hit him^ / And I'll get even more behind in school. God, if I did something wrong, please tell me./ Rei had been walking behind him for awhile, and was starting to get annoyed that he was ignoring her. She got fed up and decided to look at what he was thinking. She then stated, "you have done nothing wrong". "Don't do that!" yelled Shinji. " I am here to escort you back to my appartment." "But what about my stuff?" stuttered Shinji. "It has been taken care of" / I don't want to know how/ Shinji thought. "Well, let's go, I guess"
At Rei's apartment
Rei and Shinji were walking to their rooms. ^ separate rooms! ^ " I didn't know you owned this whole place, why don't you use it?" asked Shinji. " I don't have enough stuff. As I have all ready stated, you will be staying at room the room to the right of mine. I will wake you up when it is time to start." With that said, Rei walked into her apartment, closed the door, and left a very confused Shinji. They have been friends for awhile, and he is wondering why she seems colder than she has been lately. But does he want to know?
Inside her apartment, Rei shudders. / Why am I having these thoughts? Why do I want to touch him? I don't think I can handle this… but it is an order, and I can not disobey Commander Ikari.. how I want to touch him/
