The skies are blue and the clouds are white. It was a sunny day. The streets are crowded. People are walking back and forth to do what they want to do while I was walking back from my school all alone.
I'm always alone without anyone to talk to. No lover and no friend, simple as that. I regret ignoring and not making friends when I was still in my school days but well, I can't do anything about it. I have a poor communication skill and as a normal human species, I can't change the past. I haven't given up on looking for one, though.
My dad once told me 'The past already passed, so just let it pass'. At that time, I thought it was super duper ultra mega cool, making me repeating that line for a hundred days straight. Even now I was still thinking that it was cool (This is what I call brainwashing)...
At that time, I don't know why but when my mom heard what my dad just said, my mom had a complicated expression on her face. I guess I understand now...
Well, my mom and dad is not here anymore. They died from a truck crash when they were on a vacation while I am sitting around at home doing nothing with my uncle... Why did they leave me? I am their son. Can't they just bring me with them? Oh yeah, I'm going to die too if I were to be brought there...
Umm... My uncle is a good guy...
Uhh... What should I say again in this monologue?
Suddenly, I heard a noise from behind me. Yeah! Good timing! I don't know what should I say just now!
KIIIIIIIIIIK!
When I heard the friction that usually appears in action movies, I turned around and saw a truck going this way. I don't have any time to dodge because when I saw the truck, it is already on my face... quite literally...
I'll take back my words about good timing.
BAM!
With that, I was sent flying to a nearby building and hit the wall of the building... Again, with my face landing on the wall first... giving me a ticket to the end of my life and of course, It feels really unpleasant.
Why is my luck so marvelously lethal today? I don't remember doing something bad enough to deserve this...
And hey, truck-kun. What is your problem? You killed my father... and mother. Now you killed me. What did my family do to you to have this kind of grudges against us?
Sigh... If I can still talk and if my uncle were here, I would have told him to be careful and do not follow my path. He should follow his own path, maybe like getting trampled by a horde of rushing horses?
Nope, it's a joke... Don't take it seriously. I'm not that kind of evil ungrateful guy.
Well, the past already passed, so just let it pass. I don't care anymore since taking revenge (especially to a truck) won't bear any fruit. I mean, taking revenge against Truck Species is kind of dumb, am I right?
Sigh... My vision blacked out and all, then I instinctively know that I died. It is definitely not the most pleasant thing that I've ever felt...

- At a Certain Small Cave -
I found myself inside a cave, feeling really cold and extremely dizzy to the point that I can't really think well.
RUMBLE RUMBLE
The outside world is really dark, indicating that it is night time, but I can somehow slightly see the outside world even if it is really dark. I can hear the sound of raindrops and the thunders rumbling.
There is a huge storm, raging outside of this cave. The storm's attack reached the first half of the cave making the floor really wet there.
I can see a big black furred wild boar outside, just facing to the left side if you are seeing it from inside the cave like me. Its fur is moistened by the heavy rain. It has a pair of really long fangs that are sticking out from it's lower and upper jaw each. Its body is really muscular and its left eye has a big scar making it looks like the wildest animal among the wildest animals. It looks really badass... It has a-
BOOM! CRASH!
"GUHIIIII!"
A gigantic tree outside was suddenly struck by thunder that is blinding to the eyes, causing it to fall to the ground, somehow crushing the poor badass jinxed boar...
Ouch, my eyes... That was dangerous... and that boar definitely is not normal. I never saw a boar with that kind of big muscles and huge fangs even on the internet. Well, today is the end of its life though...
Currently, I am at the very end of the cave, lying on the ground. And of course, the dirt on the ground is not pleasant even if it is not really wet... While feeling pity for the boar, I saw it... I have paws, and these paws are armed with a set of claws each...
'What happened? I thought I was slain by that truck? I am supposed to be at the hospital right now if I survived. Oh, maybe I was just reincarnated! Nope, it's a joke. Ain't gonna hope much on that. But well, if I were to reincarnate, that would be kind of exciting... I guess?'
Based on my accumulated knowledge of web novels and light novels, I've encountered the story about a certain someone reincarnated into a goblin, a slime, a dog, a wolf, a cat, or even a skeleton. Personally, I like the wolf one. Because why not? They r Badass u kno?
"Mew..."
I tried to talk like how a human does but ultimately failed... And my voice is the voice that I usually hear from a kitten... Okay, so, I was reincarnated as a cat. Considering I got sick while I am the only cat in this cave and there is a raging storm outside, I bet that I am only a defenseless and mommyless kitten that is about to die. Simply a nightmare for most normal people.
Okay, first, I'll try to examine my body and then get used to it. I'm not losing anything, even if I don't know if this is reality or a dream.
'Ouch, my head!'
While I tried to examine my own body, I got a dizzying headache that prevents me from doing what I want to do.
The headache, cold, and slight stinging pain at my left foreleg convinced me to label this as reality. Sigh... I don't even have any motivation to examine my body anymore...
Well then, let's just think about my situation or sleep since there is probably nobody that will come to this cave anytime soon.
'Sigh... I wish I have some kind of medicine that can help me with my current situation...'
Then, as if I was a protagonist of a novel or manga, that 'thing' appeared.

I saw a semi-transparent interface screen that is similar to System in mangas, manhwas, and manhuas. Okay... I'm the protagonist of this world, hahaha! Nah, its a joke and I'm not expecting much since I think I'm not the only one that can possibly get this system thingy.
Anyway, on the interface screen, there are three function options to choose from. They are Status, Inventory, and Store. I've never expected that this kind of development is actually true in real life. Did I get some kind of those RPG games systems? Or is this kind of hallucination?
I'd never know if I don't at least try to use it. If it is not real, then it must have not worked, but if it is real, then I guess it is real. This is what I call murdering two stones with one bird but in a more simple case this time. Uhh... I mean, murdering two birds with one stone...
I don't know when, but I just instinctively know how to use all of the functions. It is a completely new feeling, and I can't really describe this feeling. But this is kind of handy if I should say.

But that was unexpected... Now, it is fixed that I was born as a cat. Fine, I'll accept it! But, my species' name... Wasn't it just too Chuuni? Still, it was kind of unfortunate to be reborn as a cat... I might need to Cultivate for Immortality considering the lifespan of a normal cat... And why in the wurld did you put a 'Nope' in my name, punk??? My name is...
What the...? I can't recall any memories of my name from my previous life... It just disappeared... However, there is one thing that I know.
I don't like my previous life's name.
Why not just create a new name since I've lost my old name? Moreover, I have some ideas and it is about the names that I've stored inside my memory! Hehe, Okay, from now on, my name shall be Hairo Koua!

At that time when I was still one of the demi-otaku species, I created the name after doing some research on the internet. Moreover, I have not seen anyone using this name in any stories that I've read before.

Okay, fine... There is no use complaining about this. At least it is much better now, and It's not like somebody will know about it or more unlikely laugh when seeing it anyway.
'What is this Traits of Minecrafters?'
As if to answer my question, the interface screen changed to that of information about my one and only mysterious Skill.

Oh... Okay...? I'm having quite a hard time to digest the information right now... I just read through it while barely remembered the one or two information on the interface screen. However, I remembered one important thing.
It is written that I am basically Immortal now, and there is no need to do anything anymore, am I right? If I were to die, I'd just respawn in my bed like I was having a dream that actually is not a dream... Respawn, huh? Wait... Minecrafter? Respawn? Mobs? Don't say if...
What in the wurld is going on?! You are Minecraft System, aren't you?! Why are you even here?! Ah, it's not like I'm complaining. It is good that you are here...
Agh! my head still hurts from time to time!
Now, should I attempt suicide to get out from this troublesome fever thingy? Nope... It is only a fever and besides, I'm not used to dying since it is a completely unpleasant and new experience. As a person who has experienced death, I know that death feels even more unpleasant than getting stabbed by a knife... I'd rather avoid death as much as possible.
I guess I should just check out the Inventory option? Yeah, I should since Status is really good, then Inventory might be something good too.
I instinctively used the Inventory function making me feel that indescribable feeling just like when I used the Status function again. Suddenly, a familiar screen that I've seen in my previous life appeared... Yep, this is definitely Minecraft.
It is the usual Minecraft Inventory. There are the usual eight empty spaces on the hotbar, twenty-four more spaces above the hotbar and four more empty spaces that I remembered is used to Craft things. There are four free spots for armors and my appearance on the right side of it too...
The me on the screen is a little kitten with beautiful silvery-gray fur that has a pair of eye colored in gold. A noble pretty cat if I should say. So, when did I get a panic attack last time? I don't remember anymore... And it seems I didn't get it this time either...
Hey, I'm a cat now, can I even use the armors? Maybe I'll find out about this later. I don't need this kind of information for now.
Okay, actually, there is nothing much here. Though, I wonder if I can summon the items freely when I place it on my hotbar...
Okay, how about the Store then?
I muttered the word 'Store' inside my mind to try new things instead of instinctively doing it again. It seems this works too. Soon, a list of Items that I really am familiar with appeared in front of my eyes. There are Potions, Corps, Swords, Apples, and much more. It seems that I need to use RT (Remn Token) to buy something from the shop and somehow, I have 1000 RT with me. The System is really generous! I luv u System!
Anyway, I've done everything that I can think of and thinking more would make my head hurt even more. I've checked every options and function of the System. Now, I don't think I have anything to do anymore. Should I just rest? I think a good night sleep will smack the butt out of the fever.
Let's just sleep. I am tired. I want to end this suffering... Good night world.
My vision starts to black out as I enjoyed the comfortable sounds of raindrops outside. In the end, I've fallen asleep before I even noticed.
