Good Morning! This is just a really, really, really short one-shot that came to me while watching "The Stolen Earth" and the beginning of"Journey's End". It's mainly from the Doctor's POV, but a little bit from Donna's.

Quotes taken from "The Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End".

Disclaimer: I don't own any thing in the Doctor Who-universe. Except for my own toy TARDIS.

The Doctor burst out from the TARDIS. In the street where they'd landed, cars were standing with their doors wide open, and there wasn't a single person in sight.

"Like a ghost town." Donna said.

"Sarah Jane said they were taking the people. What for?" He turned around. "Think, Donna, when you met Rose in that parallel world, what did she say?"

Donna shrugged.

"Just 'the darkness is coming'."

"Anything else?" he asked, feeling a little disappointed.

Donna tried to recall what Rose had said, but suddenly her eyes fixed on something behind him.

"Why don't you ask her yourself?"

How can I ask her if she's not even her- Oh. OH!

He turned around. At the end of the street, there was a tall, blonde figure in a blue leather jacket.

Suddenly she saw him too, and her face split into a wide smile, filled with joy. She started running against him, and his feet started moving towards her too. Donna smiled. They both broke into a run.

The Doctor had barely dared to believe it before, but now... Rose was here. She was actually here. He smiled bigger than he ever had before in his life – and for someone who was 907 years old, that was saying something.

Donna smiled as she saw the two persons run towards each other. But suddenly Rose turned her head. A voice rang out:

"EXTERMINATE!"

The Dalek fired. The Doctor got hit. Donna's first thought was:

Life is so unfair.

"There now." The Doctor was still in a bit of a shock. Finding Rose, running, getting shot by a Dalek and avoiding regeneration was tiring work. But Rose was there.

"You see! Used the regeneration energy to heal m'self, but as soon as that was done, I didn't need to change. I didn't want to, why would I?" He straightened his tie. "Look at me! So, to stop the energy going all the way, I siphoned of the rest into a handy, by a matching receptacle, namely my hand. My hand there. My handy spare hand." He stood up, now talking only to Rose.

"Remember, Christmas Day, Sycorax? Lost my hand in a sword fight, that's my hand. What do you think?"

She started moving towards him, but slowly, carefully, as if she was afraid he was going to disappear.

"You're... still you."

"I'm still me."

He opened his arms and she threw herself into them and, Rose almost crying with joy, they hugged as if they never were going let go.

Right then, what do you think? I hope this is a good one. And by the way, was I the only one who has been swearing at RTD two times in the entire Doctor Who? The second one: this very scene, when he gets shot by a Dalek. The first time: DOOMSDAY. Oh, during those last minutes, I cried, I weeped, I bawled. I also cursed RTD repeatedly and yelling stuff like: "Russell T Davies, I WILL STRANGLE you for this!"

So, please review this. Really, do.

Thank You!
