Shire Hobbits
By: Lady Perpetua
Gold and blue and silver hue,
The colors of Shire dawn.
Green and yellow, hairy feet fellow,
Who travels weary and long.
He misses the gold, the blue, and silver,
As does Samwise Gamgee.
Pippin and Merry, feet just as hairy,
Follow in effort to see.
The world so vast, what miraculous life,
Though death rides right behind.
What more awaits, they never do know,
As they travel far and wide.
Is life in store of a knock at death's door,
They must travel and be content as they do.
For who doth know the trouble in store,
For four hobbits far from shire view.
