Flynn sat at the border of the stream, pondering of the upcoming events that were peaking over the horizon. He twiddled his thumbs, and let the simple waves catch his feet slightly. " Hnn… I wonder if this going to be the turning point of our friendship," he muttered. A large, dark skinned boy jumped from the tree above the black haired boy, and landed easily on the ground by him. "Luc… What do you think?" he asked semi quiet and tiredness lingering in his voice. Said teen sat down by his friend, and placed his naked feet into the water.

"I think that this tournament will be good for the team. I mean, we were assigned to work together, and you and I have known for a few years now, so I think this should be good," he said, removing his large, oversized pale white jacket, and tossing it to the side, revealing a silver tee shirt with the dueling symbol for Light on it. Flynn smiled, and removed his black, tight jacket, revealing his black shirt with the dueling symbol for Darkness on it.

"Yeah. We have all the dueling symbols for our team, so maybe this can be a victory," Flynn stroked his hair back, pushing a small, white, lone tuff of hair back, only causing it to stick up again. Luc laughed at this gesture. The smaller of the teens puffed up his cheeks in an angered gesture, causing his gentle giant friend to laugh more.

"Sorry, but your cards may be scary, you can't be for your life!" Luc continued to laugh. Flynn looked ready to dismantle his friend, limb by limb, and let out a small growl that could have scared his own Darkness monsters back into their holes.

"Why you…," he tackled Luc right of the edge, flew into the shallow water with a splash. The black haired boy came up sputtering and gagging, trying to relive his throat and lungs of the foul tasting water. Luc was sitting; his clothes soaked through, and started to laugh again. "What?!" Flynn hissed, still a little ticked off that his friend said he wasn't that scary.

"Nothing. You just surprised me that's all. I knew you would be scary, I just had to bust your chops to bring it out of you!" the bigger, older, and darker skinned teen laughed heartily. Flynn flopped down into the water, and started to blow bubbles. "I guess that being scary is something that you could bring to the table. After all, there is only one professional Darkness user in our group. I think that is a great title, if you don't mind me saying," Luc said, his chest swelling with pride for his friend, whom lay wet on his legs.

Flynn said nothing. He just looked down at the water that rippled along the two boys frames, and glistened in the light of the setting sun. A small smile made its way and danced across his face, as he took to heart what his friend just said about him. "Yeah. I guess you're right. I mean, I am a pretty big threat to Marcus and his gang," Flynn said proudly.
