Chii had never felt so alone, until now. Lin had gone off to protect Republic City from being attacked from the Equalists and Amon. Chii's "farewells" and "please be safe" were half-hearted as she was trying to hold back tears. To take her mind off of the bad feeling she had in her tummy, Chii decided to practice her waterbending skills. As Chii closes her eyes to mediate, she remembers Lin praising her after the first time Lin saw Chii's waterbending abilities. 'You are a strong waterbender, Chii' Lin had said as had she ruffled Chii's hair and bright smile on her face. As Chii comes back to reality, she smiles, remembering those few but special moments. "Chii, focus" she says as she opens her eyes and strikes her imaginary opponent.
