Ok. I'm not really sure what I'm doing. This is my first fanfic, and it's a really short finchel oneshot.

Read it? Please?

"We're gonna win this thing."

"We are going to Regionals and we are gonna win this thing!"

Rachel couldn't stand it any longer. The look on his face; the determination. He was just so perfect. And right at that moment, she didn't care that they were standing in the middle of the stairs, hundreds of students walking past them. She put her hands on his shoulders while her brain was trying to make her body stop.

He broke up with you! You're not together! You can't do this!

But she didn't care what her brain wanted. She was Rachel Berry and she doesn't get ordered around.

So she leaned down and kissed Finn Hudson full on the mouth.

It had been such a long time since she'd kissed him, and she'd forgotten how amazing it felt. She never felt her whole body tingle the way it did when she shared even just an innocent little kiss with Finn. She'd never felt like this during her make out sessions with Jesse.

Then she remembered who and where she was, and it was not appropriate to be kissing people in school, when she was meant to be-

Where was she meant to be?

At glee practice! Of course. The very thing they'd been talking about only a few moments ago. So – unwillingly – she pulled away.

"We are going to Regionals, and we are gonna win this thing!"

Finn was determined. Not so much about winning Regionals (although he did want to place, he couldn't imagine a world without glee club), but about cheering Rachel up.

She'd been a bit off ever since St. Jerk went back to Vocal Adrenaline. But you can't blame her; He egged her, for Fuck's sake! She'd been getting better, until we heard who was judging at Regionals.

Since then, she'd been falling into a pit of doom, and Finn wanted to be the one to lift her out again.

Then her hands were on his shoulders, and he raised his hands slightly, preparing to hug her.

And suddenly her lips were on his.

It had been such a long time since he'd kissed her. And he'd forgotten how amazing it was, how much he loved kissing Rachel Berry.

His brain was telling him to kiss her back, to hold her, to ditch school and go somewhere alone, where he could kiss her until they passed out. But his body was so shocked, it wouldn't respond.

So he was just standing there whilst the girl he… heck, the girl he loved kissed him.

The girl he… loved.

But then Rachel pulled away, and he was snapped out of those thoughts. Had he done something wrong?

But she smiled at him – a smile that he'd say could 'melt his heart', if he was girly enough to say things like that – and she whispered

"We're gonna win this thing."

Like it? Or not?

I don't really mind, but please review and tell me.
