Me: This is a sequel to When The Heat Dies Down, the requester asked for it and since I had taken so long to make the original I figured it's the least I can do. So I hope she enjoys it and everyone else that reads it. This is no lemon in it!
You were laying on your bed with Shiva on your stomach sleeping soundly as you frowned looking at the clock. Kurenai was off on a mission and due back any day now, you were left home alone in the place you shared with her. You smiled lightly remembering the night you asked to stay with her and what had happened before hand. Yet now that you were always together it hurt so much more when she left on missions with her team.
-Flashback-
"How come I can't go with you?" you pouted as she laughed lightly replying, "I'll be back before you know it."
You kissed her roughly on the lips as she kissed back with your intensity hugging you tightly not wanting to let go. Once you both pulled away you saw Hinata, Shino and Kiba coming towards the house as she smiled towards you.
"Make sure to keep yourself busy.. Maybe you can get my flowers to grow." she said as you laughed saying, "It will be a miracle but I'll try."
She said another goodbye then began walking off with her team as you watched her till she was out of sight leaving you with a sad smile.
"See you in a month.." you whispered closing the door slowly.
-End of Flashback-
You got off the bed and went into the living room looking out the window to see the dying flowers had began to blossom beautifully. You walked towards them watering them as you sighed not sure what to do now. You had super cleaned the house, went on a few missions around the village and even helped train some kids but your mind always traveled to Kurenai.
"Stupid missions.. Stupid Tsunade not letting me go." you muttered cleaning some dishes while Shiva watched you curiously.
You could hear children playing outside while there parents called them in since the sun was beginning to set and you frowned knowing Kurenai wasn't coming home tonight. You ate with Shiva and got ready for bed and then laid back down in the same position as earlier staring at the clock. Slowly your eyes began to become heavy as you drifted into a deep sleep letting the night take control.
"Wolf-chan.." you heard a light voice whisper as your eyes forced themselves open to see a outline of a women hovering over you.
"Kurenai?" you said sleepily as your sight came into better focus seeing her gentle smile above you.
She laid down beside you putting her arms around you and snuggling into you letting you feel her warmth and sweet scent. You knew this was probably just a dream but you decided to go with it and turn around facing her kissing her on the lips. She kissed back passionately while you wrapped your arms around her closing your eyes into the kiss. You pulled away laying beside her as your eyes fluttered shut making the world go black.
You woke up with a start as you blinked looking around seeing that you were indeed alone in bed making you frown. You laid back down closing your eyes holding back tears as Shiva laid beside you trying to cheer you up.
"Wake up sleepy head." you heard as your eyes popped open to see Kurenai standing there with some hot tea.
"Kurenai.." you whispered as she smiled wider saying, "Of course it's me.. I got here last night. Did you sleep well?"
You got up giving her a kiss and replied, "Sure did, I had the best dream ever."
Me: Well that's it, and yes I know it's short but I think it's sweet. Now I will be doing only the Naruto Lemon Series. I will post the next chapter asap.
