The shooting went as the rifle went off.
I embraced and hid under the blankets in fright.
My dad was there fighting the war.
My nana was cradled my newborn brother.
''My dear. Everything is going to be alright.'' My mother replied as she kissed me on the head.
Until the government came with their weapons.
My dad busted out of the windows with the speed of light.
My mom gave me locket.
''Go! Ada! Keep you and your brother safe.'' she said.
My family and I both gave our last goodbyes.
As tear went on my face.
No! I practically scolded at my childish thoughts.
I need to be strong.
I hold my brother in my arms and ran off.
